    Actually, nakabili na rin ako sony home theatre system worth $1200. Pero dahil nag 1/2 price sale ang Harvey kaya nakuha ko lang ng $650. Kaya kumakalabog na rin sa bahay kapag nanonood kami ng movie.

    No need to wait na rin for 5-6months para sa mga new movies. Meron na streaming online, sa friend ko lang din nalaman ung site. At ang ganda ng quality ng video, malinaw at walang mga ulo sa harap. hahaha...

    Transpo: 142 for 28 days (Train)
    Food: 200 / month
    Mobile: 60 / month

    Note that I am living alone as of the moment and in a shared room accomodation.
    This will change as soon as my family arrives.
    Todo tipid po ako, napakabihira kong kumain sa labas, nagbabaon po ako para sa lunch.
    Libre ang fresh milk sa office kaya cereal lang binibili ko para bfast sa umaga at lahat ng binibili ko if possible ay puros home brand ng woolworths or coles which is an equivalent to SM Bonus in PH which is very cheap compared to the same product na may brand.

    Estimate ko if my family is here. Note na estimate pa lang, hindi pa actual.

    Rent: 300-350/wk (inclusive of water)
    Transpo: 142 for 28 days (Train) for me. Another 50/month pag mamasyal kami or grocery.

    Foxtel lang alam ko... Other internet provider have Fetch TV but in my opinion nothing can beat Foxtel, di ko nga lang afford! lolz! :)

    I don't think this was discussed previously but me and wife would want to ask if you guys can share how much is your weekly budget currently; if possible, kindly include breakdown (i.e: rent, transpo, grocery, etc...)

    This information will greatly assist incoming migrants on preparing on how much to prepare for the BIG move down under.

    online streaming service (mostly US TV series)

    watch TV shows and movies on smart TV, laptop or mobile devices.

    kung mahilig ka mag series or movie marathon sulit itong netflix.

    tanong pala, yung NBN ba, kailangan pa rin nyan may landline?
    hindi na kailangan pero bihira na merong providers ang mag ooffer ng naked NBN plan.

    nag try ako sa Dodo, Telstra at Optus, halos pare pareho yung plan nila na may landline na kasama.

    ang kinuha ko is PAYG landline dahil hindi naman kami gumagamit ng landline for outgoing calls, at puro incoming calls lang ..

    naked NBN means internet lang ang service na kukunin mo kay Provider A with "assumption" na meron ka ng landline from Provider B.

    kung wala ka pang landline, Provider A will give you the landline service as part of the internet package 99% of the time.

    PAYG

    Pay As You Go Landline, you pay for what you use.

    Incoming calls are free.
    Outgoing calls are metered and charge as per Provider A's rate. In my case, in an average monthly billing ko sa landline is $5. Mostly calls to mobile phone.

    sis nakikiconnect lang kasi kami sa land lady
    nasa Granny Flat kami, tapos nag inquire kami before kasi walang phone line sa granny flat.
    ung main line nasa main house. So ayun. wala kaming sariling internet.... *sad*
