While commuting in MRT this morning, i dont know why suddenly nag browse ako ng mga insects/pest/arachnids sa youtube.

I would like to know if totoo bang maraming gagamba at ahas jan sa Australia?? They say may malalaki daw spiders like yung Huntsman Spider na pweding lumaki kasing laki ng Plato? or yung poisonous gaya ng funnel web or red back, may bata kasi ako kasama so just in case tska may konting takot ako sa gagamba hahaha.

How about snakes and other pest. Manageable ba?

    Wow nakakatakot! Hehe!

Seriously, wala pa ako nakikita dito. But then again, sa city kasi ako. Nakikita kong animals dito yung mga dogs sa park kasama nag jogging with the owners. Ni lamok, wala pa ako na-encounter!! I have to say this, pretty strict ang pest control.

But the outback is different I think. Spiders snakes crocs yikes. So unless you're into hunting trails? :D

nag research ako sa red back spiders .. inde naman daw deadly katulad nung mga nababalitaan ko ... pero lalagnatin ka daw pag nakagat ka ... if you want the anti-venom its going to hurt twice .. basta daw inde mo ginagalaw it wont hurt you ....

Yung mga sin-laki ng plato na huntsman is not venomous. Common at home and best to leave them alone as they are good natural insecticide. Unless of course the spider is a goliath tarantula, that is a threat. But I think the goliaths are found Queensland areas.

One common spider we encountered in Sydney was the redback. Scary because I found it walking over the toilet suite just after my wife used it :s Buti na lang hindi sya nakagat.

hello, I attended some first aid training and hope this helps. of the numerous species of spiders in Australia, only 2 are capable of causing death, funnel web and red back spider.

For snake bite naman, I think there is one anti-venom for most snakes ata, so di mo need tandaan kung ano snake yung nakita mo. hahaha tapos meron isa na specific, they will inject the first one, before the second ata. May ka-isa isang snake na binaggit nung first aid na talagang aggresive at nang hahabol compare sa iba na pag nakita ka is aalis lang.

Careful also of the funnelweb, look up kung anong itsura nila so you are familiar. One of the people I follow sa socmed studied up on Aussie wildlife when she moved to Oz!

'Di kaya ng Vicks since venom goes into the bloodstream and Vicks ay hanggang skin level lang.

Meron na ba sa atin na minalas-malas at nakagat ng venomous spider/snake/whatever AU has to offer? Anong lunas?

'Di kaya ng Vicks since venom goes into the bloodstream and Vicks ay hanggang skin level lang.

Haha!

Check out the state if san kayo titira. Nakakita ako mga once or twice just avoid them sa mga kakahoyan and webs. Madami dito ibon, bats, ibat-ibang klase mga bats and ibon. Mas nakakatakot pa mga seagulls and bin chicken who will snatch your food. Don’t ever feed them. Including pigeons in public. They don’t recommend. Pati magpies na hahabulin ka (advice nila don’t make eye to eye contact).

Nothing to worry about.
