@katlin, I'm not sure which bank you use but personally, I have tried negotiating with BPI & Citibank to increase the credit limit...sabihin mo one-time transaction lang yung increased limit para mas madali ang approval

@onesilvertwo, yup alam ko yang facility na yan.. dyan ako nag-refer dati kung anong i-nominate ko na skill eh.. sige pag-aralan ko kung pano ang selection nyan..

nwys, based dun sa Form 1276 man ni-encourage nga nila na mag-online application ang mga tao.. hehehe.. so talagang hahanapan ko ng credit card to para may pambayad. hehe.

Again, pwedeng nde ko credit card ang gamitin dba?

@katlin924 thats my question din dati. kasi I was thinking baka mag reflect sa financial status ng applicant pag ibang card ang ginamit. kaya I asked for my cousin na issuehan ako ng supplementary card, just at least to bear my name. PERO, since the amount is quite high, maiintindihan naman siguro ng immig na di lahat ng cardholders has the limit to settle the application fee....

regarding sa occupation, actually, they share the same "task"... we just have to choose the "position" that fits on the job description that we have...

@katlin924 , i used my sister's credit card to pay the fee. wala namang naging issue.
pwde rin ata magbayad using managers cheque.

Ah talaga @bonzi.. Sa DIAC na yan ha.. Hindi pwedeng managers cheque pag online eh.. Credit Card lang talaga pag online ayon sa website nila.

Co-signing a loan (or in this case a credit card transaction) should be fine as long as there's written consent from the cardholder

I remember reading na applicants have 28 days after the application has been lodged to attach the supporting docs. tama diba? I am trying to search/read sa DIAC website, however, I cannot seem to verify it, di ko na makita yung particular page stating this information.

@onesilvertwo Check mo to: http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/apply-online.htm, meron dun sa Saving Online Applications. So siguro kse, di mo pa ni-ssubmit talaga lahat so ni-save mo lang.. You have 28 days para ma-complete mo lahat ng kailangan including the upload.. Feeling ko yan yung statement na yon eh..

Tara lodge kana din. Wag mo na palagpasin ang october. Mabilis na processing. Feb 2011 na sa 175 ang pinaprocess..

With regards sa occupation sa online app, yun pa din ang nilagay ko, di ko na binago. 2 SE, at 3 AP. Nagbase nalang ako sa duties and responsibilities.. Anyway, I believe reference lang iyon, they will eventually check the COEs and assessment result..

Anong ibig mong sabihin na Feb 2011 na sa 175 ang pinaprocess? Pano mo nalaman?!? Nakikita ba sa internet yon.. hehe.

@katlin924 medyo nalito pa ako ng kaunti diyan sa TRF na iyan. nilagay ko sa IELTS ko yung student number ko. di ko naman napansin sa bandang right corner andun ang TRF number. update ko nalang siya tonight....

Yung processing updatesm nagpahula ako. kaya ko nalaman. hahahaha!

@katlin924, na lodge ko na application ko (sinamahan ko ng isang katutak na dasal), though di pa ako nag attach ng documents. I am planning to attach the docs on saturday or starting thursday.

Alam mo, I think ang 28 days ay number of days required to complete an application while there is no deadline in attaching docs. I read some forums na lagpas na ng 28 days, they can still attach docs. Ideal lang na mag attach right after lodging the application (few days after) so that in case an officer will review the application, necessary docs are ready for initial judgement.

Overall, ok naman ang online experience ko. Credit Card payment was smooth. Items/forms are easy to retrieve, review and update. I received the Transaction Reference Number (TRN) after the successful payment.

On the other news, plano ko ata mag apply ng state sponsorship. haha! not sure kung pwede kahit I have indicated sa application ko na 175.

Ang galing naman @onesilvertwo! Nope, dapat nag-apply ka muna ng State bago ka nag-lodge.. Alam ko ganon yung ginawa nung iba.. not sure though.. baka naman pwde.. aralin mo tapos balitaan mo ko.. hahaha..

Hindi pa ko nag-lodge wala pang approval ng credit card increase eh.. Ah so pag-nagbayad ka, pasok na kagad yun sa credit card mo? Kaloka! hahaha.. Sana 1st or 2nd wk ng Nov ma-approve ung credit increase.. oks lng mauna ka na ng onti.. hahaha!

@katlin924 malay natin pwede. haha! oo tama ka, as I understand, ang process ay you need to get the sponsorship muna. naisip ko lang na "baka" possible. lets wait for the insights of others about this.

isa pa ng pangdagdag points, naisip ko din na mag NAATI Exam sa SG on march 2012, actually prior to my application, naisip ko din ang NAATI, pangdadag points. pero sabi ko, I will just rely on the 65pts that I currently have. But since the site allows the applicant to attach documents anytime (but be sure to attach the primary reqts immediately), I am planning to take the exam on march. Just that, this exam is so pricey.

di ko pa nacheck yung balance, what I understand on what happened ay, nauthorise na siya ng bank, which means, paid na siya. so ngayon, floating yung trans sa bank side, just like a normal purchase, tapos pag nag batch ang bank the following day after the transaction, ayun magiging posted na siya sa CC account mo. smooth ang payment, ininform namin ang bank na may papasok na transaction na ganitong amount. ngayon ang di ko sure ay kung magiging smooth ang payment. hahahahhaha! joke lang.

sana makuha mo na approval ng limit increase para malodge mo na, para magkabatch tayo. hahaha!

magdilang anghel ka na nawa nga ay tuloy-tuloy na ito.

Hi Katlin! If di pa approve or di maapprove credit increase mo, what you can do is make an advance payment or parang magdedeposit ka dun sa credit card mo. That's what we did nun naglodge kami online. Example kung 100K lang credit limit mo, magdeposit or magpay ka na ng kulang kung magkano visa application fee ngayon.

Yes, you got it right.

Kami nun, 90K lang credit limit. Nung June 2011, nasa 120K lang visa fee. Ginawa namin nag-advance payment kami ng 40K para maging 130K laman ng credit card namin. Pinasobrahan na namin 10K para may allowance if tumaas exchange rate. Pagdating billing statement namin, 90K na lang binayaran namin.

Citibank ginamit namin nun. Better nga if confirm mo sa credit card na gamit mo. Sana pwede yun.

Dito or sa kabilang forum (philippines.com.au) ko din natutunan yun ganitong style.

Medyo aggressive ang mga banks ngayon....puwede ka mag-apply din ng loan as much as the full amount of the visa lodging fee tapos payable in 12-36 months siya. Just indicate in your loan application that you are aspiring to be an OFW (coz they give special considerations to OFWs).

Hi @LokiJr, thanks for the suggestion pero the question still remains kung mag-apply ako ng loan.. Pano yung sa credit card dba? Hehehe.. Ang malas lang kse til Nov 1 ang holiday so sa Nov 2 pa ko pwede mag-inquire sa bank.. Pero oks lng yon.. Mabuti na yung sigurado.. hehe.

Hi Katlin! If you don't mind, ano po ba credit card mo? Kasi as far as I know walang holidays or 24x7 ang customer support ng credit cards. Ok din suggestion ni Loki na loan especially if medyo kulang funds to pay for the visa fee. Kaya lang sayang din yung interest na babayaran mo.

Hi! Question po sa mga nag-apply online and nakapagsubmit na ng mga documents, naglodge kasi kami nun June 27 and submitted our documents before July 1 pero everytime I check the progress of our application, dun sa list ng documents is "Required" pa din ang status. Di po ba yun dapat mag-change to "Received" kasi na-submit naman na namin dati pa? Or magcha-change lang sya pag may CO na?

@JClem As I understand, it will only change once a CO has been allocated. I remember reading a forum about this concern. (I read it when I was searching if I need to attach form 80 and 1221.)

Ako naman po ang may tanong, did you attach form 80 and 1221 na ba? or wait din for a CO to be allocated? sabi ng iba sa ibang forum, di pa nila inaatach. for your apps, ano ginawa niyo?

Yes, we submitted forms 80 and 1221 last July. You just have to fill it out kaya pwede na sya i-submit.
