@BoyPintados - sa Aug. 16 sir, problem is lagi ako sakto sa 40 minutes sa writing. Ang try ko sinusundan this time yung Ace the ielts and writefix tips. I hope my remaining days to prepare will be enough para mapractice yung writing ko.

@lexxus ah ayus, ganito gawin mo brad, unahin mo muna yung task 2 kase mas mabigat yung percentage... tapos one hour naman ung writing eh, target mo 30 mins sa essay, tapos 20 mins sa letter, tapos remaining 10 mins pag rereview, spellcheck, wordcount... praktis2x lang din pag may time brad.. all the best. ;-)

@cvetu2004 brad try mo search sa youtube: English TutorSydney, meron yang short video clips of IELTS Speaking Practice Test, pause and play lng James Hogan will act as your interviewer and in the same format sa actual speaking tests; over 70 videos yan, and sobrang nakakatulong kase yun talaga frequently lumalabas na mga questions... so at least you will be familiarized with the question types, the topics, and mas maganda rin e video mo sarili mo to assess your performance...

May nag-try ba magpa-remark ng writing sa BC KL? I'm open to suggestions. Ok naman results except sa writing. 6.5 score ko, konti nalang kulang ko! Thinking if i-retake ko sya or pa-remark ko nalang.

Hi @soulsurfer if u r confident sa writing mo and not in a hurry, i think you can try pa remark. subjective kase and writing eh. approx 8 weeks ang waiting time sa remarking.

may result na takers from SG in British Council.

Parang gusto ko magparemark sa speaking kase confident ako na slightly better yung speaking ko compared to 1st take pero yung score ko nag drop ng 1.0.

1st take:
Listening - 8.5
Reading - 7.0
Writing - 6.0
Speaking - 7.0

2nd take:
Listening - 7.5
Reading - 7.5
Writing - 7.5
Speaking - 6.0

Pwede kaya umangat from 6.0 to 7.0 ang score sa speaking? Yung nag interview pati saken yung 2nd take medyo suplado compared sa 1st take ko. Nakakahinayang kase mag retake after ibuhos ko yung time of review ko sa writing.

Reading - 7.0
Writing - 5.5
Speaking - 7.5

2nd take
Listening - 7.5
Reading - 7
Writing - 6
Speaking - 7.0

3rd take - JULY 19
Listening - 7.5
Reading - 7.0
Writing - 7.0
Speaking - 6.0

Confident ako sa speaking ko eh... Anyway pare mark ko siya and take ulit ako sa august 16.. God is good and He has a reason for this. This is the most difficult exam in my life! haha (PMP cert exam, board exam etc.)

@karl_amogawin gumanda ang writing mo parekoy. Subukan mo ipa remark yang speaking mukhang mas me laban yan kesa dati sa writing.

Nakuha ko na rin po ang score ko. Sa writing naman po ako sumabit, which was most unexpected. Still thinking if I will have it re-marked at baka pumalpak

Katawa etong si hubby. Madiin daw magbura seatmate nya. Pataas magbura kung kelan doon yumuyogyog Yung mesa. Hindi nya kinikibo katabi nya sa inis. Noong nagbura na sya nilakasan din pagbura para mayugyog Yung katabi nya, hahaha! <:-P Daming distraction sa pagtake ng IELTS. Dati meron nman sya nakatabi umubo ubo...hiraap nman sya sa listening medyo mahina pandinig nya. Last Aug. 2, nga pala sya nagtake ng test.

San ka sumabit? Ngayon concentrate ako on reading articles para makakuha ng mga style for writing. And also I am talking more to my colleagues at work to practice speaking more..

@buyanyan share naman sa reading materials mo.. ganda nang angat ng score mo sa writing. writing ako sablay 6.5 lang. ewan ko ba feel ko naman ok yung essay ko.

@Stidleyfied nagbabasa lang ako ng mga news and articles from CNN at BBC. Then NBA kase mahilig ako sa basketball. Yung ielts-simon malaking tulong din. Good luck sa aten.

@buyanyan BC SG ka din? parang namemera na lang po ano? I will retake sa Sept 06 but this time IDP SG na. nagtampo na ko sa British Council..never tumaas ang writing ko lahat ng band tumaas na, writing still remains sa 6.5

Hello po! I will resit my exam sa Sept 06.. sino po may kilala private tutor for writing? yung mejo mura po kahit 1-2 lessons lang. salamat po

Yes bro, sa BC SG ako nag exam. Mukhang namemera nga lang. hehe. Anyway, pagbubutihin ko ng todo sa next time. Retake din ulet ako sa Sept 06 while waiting sa remarking. Stick to BC SG muna ako baka kase manibago ako sa environment ng IDP. Good luck sa aten.
