    @karl_amogawin hintay ko pa resulta ng EA brad... nagka-problema din sa IELTS.. hindi nila nagtanggap yung TRF na pinadala ng Test Center... nag-request pa ko sa BC na magpadala ulet...

    Hi guys, observation lang sa IELTS, sa Pilipinas, nung nag-General IELTS ako, passing lang ang grades na binigay sa kin ng tester. Pero nang nag-academic ako sa Melbourne Australia, mas mataas pa ang nakuha ko! conclusion? As education is big biz in Oz, detrimental sa industry na ibagsak ang mga prospective students! Consider taking IELTS here if borderline kayong hindi makapasa multiple times sa tin.

    12/10/11 - Hubby IELTS first take at BC result L & R-5.5, W & S-6.0 OBS=6.0 retake!!!
    12/30/11- Hubby registered at 9.0 Niners.
    03/15/14 - Hubby's comeback at 9.0 Niners preparing for IELTS test. Second attempt for Australian visa.
    05/12/14 - Complete uploading of ACS skills assessment required documents and payment made thru direct deposit.
    05/12/14 - ACS assessment application received.
    07/02/14 - ACS skills assessment result suitable ANZCO code 262113 Systems Administrator as recommended by CO for hubby's job description rather than ANZCO 261311 Analyst Programmer the first ACS ANZCO result suitable released in 2011. I conclude ACS reclassifies ICT Occupations.

    sa ielts, kalma lang sa test and practice really helps. pero pinaka-ok pa rin kung maganda foundation mo sa english language. it starts from the first grade talaga. akin to taking the UPCAT. reviewing can only do so much as to correct years of english education. if you love reading and writing in english, half the test is in the bag already.

    Who's going to take IELTS IDP on Sep 6 here? What are your preparations? Thanks!
    @Yanna tapos na ko. august 16 sa IDP. basahin mo yung Ace the IELTS na PDF, helpful sya. tsaka youtube videos. para masanay ka sa accent, makinig ka sa BBC. sa work nakatune in ako sa mga podcast nila.

    Speaking - be confident. dapat straight to the point yung answer. if di mo nagets the first time, you can request to repeat the question. helpful din yung sample questions sa youtube. try mo sagutan.

    Listening - medyo tricky. dapat attentive ka and yung vocabulary mo ok kasi usually hindi exact words yung nasa questionnaire.

    Reading - technique ko is to check the questions first then hanapin mo nalang yung answers. same with listening, kelangan mo rin ianalyze minsan yung questions and look for similar words kasi hindi sya exactly what's written sa questionnaire.

    Writing - try mo magbasa ng mga samples, usually mareretain mo naman sa isip mo yung rules. practice ka rin magsulat. imanage mo rin yung time mo kasi mabilis lang ang 1 hour, usually di mo mamamalayan.

    Question ko din po, kung Aug 16 po yung exam mo, yung speaking, mas nauna po ba? pinaka kinakabahan po kasi ako sa speaking. Hihi. But of course I know God will provide :D

    Yung speaking ko Aug14. Pero yung iba ata after nung exams sa 16, depende sa sked na ibibigay nila at least a week before the scheduled exam. goodluck!

    @Yanna, goodluck! kaya yan. kelangan mo magrelax para makapagconcentrate ka sa exams. Ang mahirap lang talaga is yung speaking kasi mabilisan dapat yung pag iisip and pagsagot and writing kasi kelangan organized yung thoughts mo, the rest OK na. :)
