No need to get a migration agent kasi andito na ata halos lahat ng info that can help each and everyone throughout the application process!

I'm so happy lang po kasi I just received a positive assessment from ACS! I submitted my application last August 2 and received the email today. AQF Bachelor Degree with a major in computing, less 2 years sa work experience.

Super overwhelming happiness na gusto kong sumigaw! Best birthday gift ever!

ah ok po... ako kasi BSIT tapos sa experiences: 5 years- comp. tech., 2 yrs- it staff at mag 2 years sa it support... di pa ako makapag decide if ano ipapa assessed ko sa acs, either comp net & sys eng., ict support eng., sys ad or net ad. naguguluhan po ako eh!

@MDK-GAB naku, di ako familiar dyan sa mga job codes na pinagpipilian mo. Kahit ako before torn ako between Developer Programmer and Analyst Programmer. Nag-based lang ako dun sa job descriptions from ACS website. From there pinag-aralan ko kung aling job code ba ang mas applicable sa work experience ko at based dun sa nilagay ng HR sa COEs ko.

"4 – Recognition of Prior Learning – (RPL) The RPL application is for applicants with qualifications with no or insufficient ICT, or applicants having no tertiary qualifications. 6 years of full time professional ICT work experience in a field closely related to the nominated ANZSCO Code is required if you hold a Non ICT or insufficient ICT qualification and 8 years if you do not have any qualifications. You are required to submit 2 Project Reports within an RPL application - ACS Recognition of Prior Learning Form. Each report must provide a detailed description of a career episode in your employment history with sufficient detail of evidence in applying the claimed ICT knowledge in a working situation. The Recognition of Prior Learning Project Report must be entirely your own work and not submitted by another person, a paid writing business or editing agency. All quoted or paraphrased material must be clearly referenced and all sources noted in the Project Report. Failure to disclose information included in the Project Report that is NOT your own, will result in an unsuitable assessment and notification of fraudulent activity to DIBP. Please refer to the ACS Core Body of Knowledge for ICT Professionals (CBOK) to help you with applying for an RPL. Sufficient detail must be provided to demonstrate the depth and breadth of your ICT knowledge gained during your ICT employment. "

Guys, what does rpl means? Does that means na wala na akong chance to settle for or hut skillset 189 considering may 5 yrs deduction?

I think pasok yan sa ECE. BS ECE din ako ang nominated ko is Computer Network and Systems Engineer.

May nakita ko sa past thread na BS ECE 2 yrs lang binawas.

Section 3 din school ko. not sure pa ang impact nyan sa assessment.

Research mo din to bigyan mo din ako heads-up. nag gagather pa din ako ng requirements and continuous research din.

Anyone out there, can you provide your insight about the impact of Section 3 school assuming closely related naman ang skills and course? Here's my summary:

Experience : 10 years 4 months
Position : Lead Systems Engineer
Age: 31
Course: BS ECE
Section: 3
Nominated Skill: Computer Network and Systems Engineer

Yun lang yung sa process nila when you submit your application to them already. Basically, it has 5 stages. The tension starts at stage 4. You can check the screenshot I attached in this post

Definitely you will go this route since IE is far from an ICT field. You can just get the ACS guidelines document online, it's a PDF that contains everything you need. I didn't read the RPL part because my course is ICT related (BS-CompE). So I hope you can get your answers there. The information will be overwhelming at first but from time to time if you read it from start to finish and ask for some clarifications here then you can assess for yourself if you are qualified or not. HTH!

Btw, sorry di ko na matrack ibang posts mo. tama ba wala ka rin claimed points for work experience? ako rin kasi walang mcclaim since nung July ko lang na-meet skilled date ko. Sa NSW lang ba pwede mgapply ng 190 for Software Engineer if walang counted experience? Thank you!!

Yes, wala akong claimed points. 2 years deduction ako sa ACS tapos 1 year na lang natira ko na Skilled Employment so wala ako points for that.

Hindi ko sure kung sa NSW lang puwede. Dun lang ako nag apply for SS kasi andun relatives and family ko. Mukha naman hindi lagi tinitingnan ng NSW work experience kasi ako wala pero nainvite naman ako. Try mo perfect PTE mo. Sa NSW lang daw yung state na nag iinvite bago makapagapply for SS eh. So, I think kapag nainvite nila for SS sure ITA na for 190 as long as proven yung EOI mo.

@tomangelo I took IELTS before PTE kasi akala ko dati IELTS lang puwede sa visa 189. Nag review center rin ako for IELTS. Mas okay talaga PTE for me. Mas kaya siya iperfect.

Ang bilis pa lumabas results. Kapag nag exam ka sa PTE this week, next week makakalodge ka na ng EOI.

Hello again, ask lang ulit kung may validity yung COE with roles pag mag ssubmit na sa ACS? Dapat ba yung COE is at least 3 moths from your ACS assessment? Thanks!

Hello! I have a question. May kaibigan po ako nagpa-assess sa ACS tapos he studied from FEU-East Asia College (Section 3) and his result was Suitable for Migration - AQF Bachelor Degree (2 years deduction) but sa ACS results letter nakalagay lang ay Far Eastern University. Should he message ACS to correct the university name? Kasi po sa list of section ng school, ang FEU ay section 2 tapos and FEU-East Asia College ay section 3. Iniisip po kasi niya na wag na ipacorrect kasi baka maging AQF Diploma pa yung result niya although East Asia College is directly under FEU. As in walang East Asia College kung walang FEU.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

@chewychewbacca actually, part rin naman talaga ng FEU ang EastAsiaColloge. siguro imessage nalang nya yung ACS at hinge ng clarifications. Baka kasi maging grounds sa denial naman yan sa stage na ng Visa application sa DIBP.

I will be submitting to ACS na sana this week, while reviewing the online application, may option for cv sa dropdown ng personal details. but sa application requirements unnecessary na daw ung resume? anu po bang cv ung I aattach sa application? or no need na po only the birth cert and passport lang?

@chewychewbacca wow ang galing mo ang taas mo PTE! Nagschedule na ko ng PTE this September, sana makakuha din ng best score para makaclaim din ako 20 points.

Wheewww grabe thank youuu! Sobrang worried ako from the start regarding sa wala akong maclaim na work experience, bute nalang ngiinvite NSW. Yung VIC kasi napansin ko sa website nila very strict ata sila sa work experience.

Nakakatense maghintay ng results, ACS and Vetassess palang kami, pero sobraaang thank you sa inputs niyo

@Heprex hello, ang alam ko walang restriction naman sa date issued ng employment reference pero advisable na yung current job mo yung pinakalast mong kukunin para sa inclusive dates
