Hello po..meron po b d2 n nakapag claim ng 15pts for their degree n nasa section 2 at d po board passer..like me BSECE at TUP TAGUIG but d po nag take ng board exam..thanx in advance for any advice and suggestions. .:)

@bachuchay if ur under section 2 and not board passer, you can only claim max 10 points. pERO KUNG section 1 ka (like UP, mapua, Ateneo, PCU or other listed), kahit hindi ka board passer, 15 points ka

hello po..thanks po sa reply..nag try po ako mag back read sa forum..may nakita po ako na mention na pag 5years yung degree pwede daw po mag claim ng 15pts kahit nasa section 2 and walang pRC? Hope its true..sakin po kasi i take 3 years technology diploma...then another 3years to continue my degree..bale 6 years at college po yung degree ko..hope may makapag share ng experience nila d2 s forum about claiming points for education...maraming maraming salamat po...

Doesn't follow - basta the higher scores will get invited first...

I.e 80pts then 75pts then 70pts then 65pts and finally 60pts.

Hello po.. bukas na ulit ung round of invitation.. Sana ung ma invite post po tau.. and paki indicate po ung points nyo.. para aware tau sa kung anong points ung na invite this round..

hopefully mag invite cla ngaun ng 60 points.

Mamya 10pm pde na natin malaman kung nainvite tau this round...

Multiple occupations under the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa put on hold



The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) has announced changed invitation arrangements for certain occupational groups for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa.



Invitation for the following occupations will be issued on a pro-rata basis over the 2013/14 program year:
•ICT Business and Systems Analysts - 2611
•Chemical and Materials Engineers - 2331
•Electronics Engineers - 2334
•Telecommunications Engineering Professionals - 2633
•Other Engineering Professional - 2339
•Software and Applications Programmers - 2613

Due to the high number of applications in these occupations there was concern regarding the early exhaustion of places.



The total of the occupational ceiling remains the same but the new pro-rata approach will mean that invitations will be stalled and issued to selected individuals over the course of the current financial year in twice monthly occupation rounds.



This announcement will concern many of you as well as people you may know. For now it is unclear how this announcement will affect nomination applications that are currently being assessed.



Over the course of the next couple of weeks the impact of this announcement on the applications already in the pipeline will be easier to determine if there are further clarifications from the DIAC and the NSW Trade and Investment.



The NSW Trade and Investment has stated that they encourage applicants not to withdraw their application until more specific information has been provided. Please refer to their web site for more details here.

I've read in expat na ACT sent emails to applicants daw informing them na di daw sila makakapag nominate for these occupations, utos daw ng DIAC. It will be applicable on all states daw. Sa ACT naman timatanong nila ang applicant if gusto ba nila i.withdraw ang applications.

Hi, I'm new here. I just wanna ask if meron po ba dito na na-assess ng ACS as AQF Advanced Diploma eventhough Bachelor's Degree ang natapos, then may nakapagclaim ba successfully ng 15points sa Education nung pagsubmit ng EOI? Is there anyone may ganito case and nagrant pa rin visa? TIA sa magrereply.

@rockmelon kung ano po ang na-assess ng ACS... yun po sinusunod ng DIAC... kahit degree ilagay mo hindi nila ihonor yun... ang ihonor nila is yung ACS.

@ipink i-spread lang nila un remaining number of EOIs for that occupations. For ex. sa case ko, systems analyst, around 500 na lang un remaining slots for this program. based on my understaning, iallocate nila equally sa mga remaining months un invites for these occupations.
Good thing for me kasi i just submitted my ACS assessment last July 1st. ACS nalang kulang ko then EOI na

Kung ano po ang assessment ng ACS yun ang usually sinusunod ng DIAC, unless you have other proof for your claim, like a point test advice from VETASSESS that will say your qualification is equivalent to an AQF Degree. Hope this helps. Thanks!

Nakakalungkot nga po kasi di kasama ung 6 occupations na yan for the round of invites today May announcement si diac na:

Invitation Round on 19 August 2013

Please note that there will be no invitations issued for the following occupations in the upcoming invitation round on 19 August 2013. The department is currently working on arrangements for the allocation of the remaining places for these occupations and we expect to be able to issue invitations for these occupations in the next invitation round on 2 September 2013.

The occupational groups affected are:

2339 Other Engineering Professionals
2611 ICT Business and Systems Analysts

Parang di pa sigurado sa Sept 2 kung may iinvite sila. Kasi sabi "we expect to be able to issue invitations for these occupations in the next invitation round on 2 September 2013".

parang wala akong nakita sa EOI form na mapipili yung points for education, meron lang input boxes for degree, course, school, dates, ACS reference number, etc. then yung system na magccompute ng overall total points. am i missing something??
