    according to one of the comments from this thread, for schools that falls under section 2 and 3... you still need to provide docs like GPA, PRC registration to get Au degree equivalent.

    @rachelle_gan2 - luma na po ang list na yan, but still pwedeng gamitin as starting point..
    please contact/pm @TasBurrfoot, meron po syang updated list ng school section..

    pag nasa section 3, it "might" be assessed as equivalent to AU diploma (10pts)
    but still, it will totally depend on some other factors (curriculum, grade, PRC, etc)

    @jvframos Omg, Scary! Pang 10th weeks na ngaun wala parin kami naririnig from VET.. Though nag provide naman kami ng PRC cert at result. Nakakatakot naman wala naman po kasibg nabanggit ung Agent namin dto sa Sg. Sir, kau lang mismo ung nag ayos ng papers mo? or with the agent.

    Also, patanong narin pag nagclaim kami ng 8 yrs. Kailangan ba ung 8 yrs na experience na un is highly related sa nominated skills.

    in my case, exactly 12 weeks ng makakuha kami ng feedback from vet assess and thank God positive naman and assessment. so do not worry so much, hintay mo lang. marami din kasi sila inaassess, ang gaming profession and under sa sphere nila. Just stay on the positive that it will be fine.

    with regards to years of experience, if you are quite familiar with the anzsco description of your occupation, lahat ng years of experience na ipapaassess nyo should be highly relevant and within the described works performed, if not, it may not be counted at all. I am applying with a MARA agent who is based in AUS but we are doing it together. I am also doing my research as well as she does.

    mabagal talaga vetasses. Ako ika 11th week na bago nagkaroon ng initial status na initial review performed tapos 12th week bago magcommunicate yung assesor asking for additional payslip. 13th week na ngaun nsa final stage na daw.

    dati hindi ako naiinip sa vetassess kasi busy pako sa ielts. ngayong tapos na ielts nkakainip na. hahaha. 9weeks and counting (maybe 5weeks more) praying for a positive result. wala akong PTA kasi 5years palang ako nagwowork and yung 5 years work ko directly related sa nominated occupation. :D

    uu nga eh, tatlo kasi kami so additional 90k yun. Im expecting assessment results anytime now. Last friday ko kasi na submit yung payslip request nila for PTA purposes and said na results will be very soon na daw. Within the week tingin ko.

    @vhoythoy goodluck. dibale ng matagal yung pag aantay basta sana positive. :) although i believe pag talagang sure na sure naman na related at enough ang work experience positive na yan. ang laki ng dagdag pala for family. ako po ay mag-isa palang so, ang plano ko naman once maka settle ako mgpapakasal kami ni bf at partner visa siya. hindi ko masimulan ang makapag family dito sa SG ksi.

    @rachelle_gan2 di ako nag-agent. Actually, yung kaibigan ko dito sa office na approved ang vetassess, sya yung nag-guide sakin kung ano mga dapat kong gawin. Cge nga join din ako sa CE community. :-)

    @michel_75 Yes nag agent kami.. sayang nga madali lang pala ung process sana tyinaga ko nalang.. :( mahal kasi ng charges nila.

    Yup sobrang dali lng ng procedures. Tambay ka lng dito matutunan muna halos lahat. Need mo lang cguro agent pag sobrang complicated ang case mo, wala ka time magasikaso and no money issue. Pero sobrang mahal tlga charges nla nasa more or less 100k din yata

    June 2015 - Got a permanent role in Melbourne

    Hmmm. Ganito normally ang nangyayari sa vetassess, after they received your documents may isang admin clerk/ staff na magasikaso ng documents mo. Doing filing, sorting, indexing, etc. tpos inform nya yung it nila or sya mismo na na received na yung documents mo kung saan mo mkkita yung status. Then inform nya rin ung incharge sa collections to process your payments. Then ipipila na docs mo. Kaya yung mga nasagot sa phonecall or yung ngreply sa general email nila, wala idea kung ano na status ng docs mo habang hindi pa naipapasa sa isang assesor. Naka standby pa kasi somwhere in their office =). Kaya bibigyan ka nila ng standard reply na 10-12 weeks waiting period.

    Then on the 10th-11th week, saka palang sya titignan ng assesor. Checking, asking for additional docs, contacting your previous companies, depending sa mga docs pinadala mo.

    Then ipapasa nya to sa isa pang verifier/ reviewer assesor for counter checking. Usually mabilis lang to kapag walang problema. Mga within a week lang to usually sa ika 12th week kung smooth nman. Sya mag initiate ng final email notification kung positive results ng sayo.

    Yung akin nasa final verifier na daw, haha kaso naisipan mnghingi ng payslip ulit for my oldest and fourth company na hindi na request ng assesor for PTA purposes. tapos na assesment nung akin, na drag nlng sa PTA kasi required may evidence ng salary for all companies mo for the past 10 years. Well, hopefully mkakuha ng docs for it.
