    @alfonso31 re: sa resume just put general description ng past work experience hindi na kelangan itemized. then sa cover letter, just let them know that you have experience doing that odd job based on personal experience. then dagdagan na lang ng fast learner etc something to that effect. goodluck!

    @katniss2015 maam. welcome po sa thread na ito and congrats. Sa BM niyo po next month paki share po ng experience at mga ganap sa mismong paglapag sa airport ng AU, kung ano hahanapin ng mga officer doon, overall experience ng mga ganap maam at process hanggang makalabas sa airport, hehe at pwede niyo rin share iba pang experiences na before and after dito. Congrats po uli and goodluck.

    hi all, i am confused with ATO instructions re: TFN and I am wondering if anyone from this forum could help us. I went to the site and I have already gotten reference number, but I am not quite sure if booking an appointment with Post Office is still required or online application would suffice.     Hello guys. I just need confirmation. My husband will enter Oz first this August. Me and the kids will have our BM on dec. Id like to confirm, since di namin kasama si hubby, no need naman ako mg present ng authorization from him na ako lang kasama ng mga kids to go out PH diba? I mean, will PH immigration see sa records na nauna na si hubby umalis? I’m just concerned baka maging issue. Will showing our marriage contract suffice in case they ask? Kasi Ive read na pag separated na parang need ng consent eh. If still married wala naman sigurong question ano? Any inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks :-)

    PTE Writing Tips

    For writing essay I used E2 language format and applying what I learned from Ielts. Sa intro, sa 1st sentence ni restate ko lang yung question using my own words. Then sa 2nd sentence if one sided lang yung question, I give summary of the reasons ( 2 reasons only). Example, if ang essay is about importance of computers (one sided), eto 2nd sentence ko. Computers are valuable resources as they (1st reason) aid in learning and are (2nd reason) used to communicate with others. Then sa 3rd sentence sasabihin ko para pampahaba-- In this essay, I shall discuss my point of view by giving points and examples about the topic.

    Then sa 2nd paragraph, elaborate ko na ang 1St reason. Mga 2 sentences na magsupport sa 1st reason, like if yung 1st reason ko is aid in learning, expand ko ang topic by answering how computers aid in learning,etc. Usually yung reason mo convert mo by asking how, what, when, or who. Tapos sa 3rd sentence, I state examples. Pwede ka din mag add pa ng 4th sentence parang isummarize mo lang ang 2nd paragraph.

    Sa 3rd paragraph discuss naman ang 3rd reason same sa ginawa sa 2nd par.

    4Th paragraph 1st sentence conclusion, then 2nd sentence recommendation.

    If 2 sided naman yung intro pwede mo gamitin yung nasa template like kina Heprex na samples. Then yung 2nd par yung kabilang side, then yung 3rd paragraph yung other side. Tapos same last paragraph.

    If medyo nahihirapan ka sa mga ideas, research ka dito sa forum ng mga recent topics. Tapos based dun sa topic reasearch ka anong pwedeng maging points and reasons para may idea ka na ano ilalagay mo sa essay.

    Ang key talaga sa writing is dapat marami ka ideas. If nahihirapan ka mag construct ng idea try to research as much as possible. Google mo yung mga common or recent topics on pte writing tapos may mga sample questions dun,, then research mo ano possible answers para sa actual exam may idea kana ano isasagot. Tapos dpat familiarize mo mga connectors (like moreover, therefore, for instance, etc) kasi mas mataas ang grade kapag medyo complex ang sentence na ginagamit mo kesa simple sentences lang.

    For summarize written text strategy ko is to first get ano main topic. Then analyze what important points were given, may nangyari ba? If meron ano ang nangyari, kelan nangyari? ano at para kanino ang purpose? Usually kasi sa mga paragraphs naka detail lang pero yung point lang naman dun is parang dinedescribe lang yung main topic. If you can answer who/what, when, how and why about the topic pwede mo na pagdugtungin yung ideas mo thru connectors and form a sentence. If you will have multiple paragraphs, summarize mo muna per paragraph then summarize mo ulit lahat in one sentence

    Another tip also in writing as much as possible do not repeat the same words. If you dont have much stored knowledge about synonyms okay lang. Practice and Research is the key. Kaya malaki ang help sa akin yung pag research sa mga common or recent topics kasi while practicing pwede akong mghanap ng synonyms then mas madali ko syang ma recall sa actual exam kasi nagawa ko na sya before. Tapos if meron kayong word na ma encounter na parang hirap kayo mag elaborate, google nyo din anong synonym or phrases na pwedeng same meaning ng word. Share ko yung nilista kong mga synonyms na possible na magagamit sa mga essay kasi minsan these are the topics commonly asked.

So, ginawa ko kahapon binago ko nalang date of birth ko, then doon ko nalang ipapacorrect sabihin ko nalang na typo error... hindi ko nga maintindinhan yung system nila ang hirap kapain... everytime kailangan mo yung confirmation e-mail... Hehehehehehe....

    @chococrinkle sa tingin ko wala naman magiging prob kasi i have a friend na married din sila. Nauna si guy ng 3 months na nag BM sa OZ, then sumunod si girl after 3 months pa kasi need mag settle muna si guy doon para pagdating ni girl eh ayos na lahat. Everything was smooth naman. Parang ganyan magiging scenaryo niyo maam, so wala kayo magiging prob.. and individual naman po ang grant letters niyo including sa kids niyo so wala po magiging prob. :)

    @alfonso31 ok lang po iyan, kami din naman nagsimula sa odd jobs. medtech po kayo diba? have you tried applying sa sullivan nicolaides and qml? mga pathology clinic po sila baka may mga opening din sila. Goodluck and Godbless!

    Hi.. share ko lang ang mga ginawa namin pagdating namin..

    5 AM kami dumating sa Perth WA.

    mga around 10 ay dumaan kmi sa mall para bumili muna ng prepaid sim card.. passport lang ang pinakita ko para makabili..

    then nagpunta kmi sa bank(commonwealth bank) para magopen ng bank account.. pinakita ko lang passport namin, ung grant letter at ung phone number din.. wala na sila ibang hinanap.. inintay lang namin na ipadala ung card sa address na nilagay namin.. tas onilne ang pagactivate ng cards.

    tapos nagpunta kami sa centrelink at medicare.. don ay may mga agent na magaassisst. passport,grant letter, phone number, bank account ang kailangan.. ausin nila un sa records nila, bbigyan kayu ng medicare number tapos ipapadala na lang ung card sa address ulit.. para centrelink naman ay bbigyan kanila ng link para maillink ung centrelink mo sa mygov na username mo na ggawin mo online..

    tas ang tfn naman ay online din iaapply tas iintayin lang sa address na ilalagay mo..
    saka pala mo pa lang maiistart ang ftb(family tax benefit) kapag may tfn ka na..

    ngaun ay apply2 pa lang ako through seek.com.au, linkedin at sa mga kakilala na nasa same field..

    hopefully may tumawag na..

    @agentKams yes po medtech ako.. nag send na ko ng online application sa dalawa na yan kc nkita ko dn cya sa seek.com at until now wla khit isa nag reply hehe. Kaya plan ko sana odd jobs muna but find it difficult to make resume for odd jobs.
