Medicare complements with the Private Health Insurance each Australians have...At hindi exaggeration yun kasi mas malaki binabayad nila sa Medicare kung walang sariling insurance ang tao sa Australia...

Another good thing about the country is it also disciplines its citizens to be self reliant...they have the voluntary superannuation, the mandatory private health insurance and tax filing...

If people will do their part in taking care of themselves, then the government funds is not stretched too thinly (as is what's happening with our government because too many people are reliant to social securities and dole outs)

Sensya na sa rant of the day.

dito sa ACT they give way to the pedestrian.

Ang pagkaka-alam ko sa 457 at sa 175, medical exam is 2nd to the last step.

Most probably, kasi wla pa naman akong naririnig na na-deny ang visa after medical unless a person has hiv or tb. Tska yung medical exam may expiry, i think kailangan nasa kanila na yung result within 2 months dapat.

importante honest ka sa pag fill up ng medical form exam. pag nakita na may problema ka. i re-refer ka sa specialist for final check up. then the CO will give you form for signature na you agree with the immigration and the australia government na magpapa check up ka sa public hospital sa australia. every 6 months ang regular check up hangang gumaling ka.

Pero kung ski ang habol mu, go to new zealand mas sulit pa dun.

Naka-coat and tie ba dyan? or pwedeng slacks and polo... Or pwede ba ang maong and shirts during working hours sa office? thanks.

Depende kung saang line of work ka. Pag client facing - suit up or one level up sa client mu. pag back end like sys admin, dba, ops - maong, tshirt. friday is casual pero pag may client and meetings, no choice suit up or at least may tie pero depende sa work culture na papasukan mu may iba masyadong professional (ex. consulting companies, banks) so no choice kailangan shirt with tie at the minimum.

Good thing, hindi ako nagtratrabaho dun.

May possibility kasi na ma-employ ako sa Business Analyst therefore i'll meet clients, is it enough to wear long sleeves and tie or should I wear COAT AND TIE? Nag-work kasi ako sa Tokyo at sobrang strict sila sa dress code. Lahat kami naka-coat and tie. Hindi pwede ang long sleeves lang.

I am rugged type of person kasi, mas gusto ko tshirt lang at maong pants lang, so kung Sys admin, or Analyst programmer or developer ang job ko, pwede palang rugged lang ang suot ko. Thanks.

    7. Masarap sa winter kasi kahit hindi ka maligo for 1 month hindi ka mangangamoy =) Also, hindi mu kailangan mag-iron kasi naka sweater and winter jacket ka madalas (tipid sa oras). Mabilis magpapayat pag winter kasi yung chilling effect sa katawan nangangailangan ng maraming calories to burn basta excercise lang kahit light in 30minutes/day.

Davidx23, Kaya po pala yung mga nasa winter countries pag nasa tropical country nagbakasyon may dalang ibang amoy pag nainitan at nagpawis, he he he joke!!!

Generally, it's safe naman. Some minor exceptions:
