Architect - Applying as Architectural Draftsperson

@phil_chobs based sa mga nabasa ko dito sa forum madami na po gumawa ng 2 assessment. wala naman naging problema. meron na dito nagpa assess as building associate and archi draftsperson na parehas positive result. meron din naman negative then nun nag pa assess ulit using a different set of duties sa COE na positive result naman. i think Vetasses is aware naman na our job is not straight forward na isang set of duties lang yun ginagawa natin.

@phil_chobs maybe you can also try to request a re assessment and submit additional docs more suitable sa duties as archi draftsperson. same as what this guy did. what ever path you choose i hope you get a positive feedback.

Thanks @kaidenMVH. I can take either but Im leaning towards the cheaper route since nagbayad na ko ng malaki. Pero, it does not mean I am not open to the re application if masmalaki ang chance niya compared to re-assessment. I just to know what you guys think or which one is the best route for now.

High probablity to get positive approval will be my top priority I guess.

@phil_chobs lol Philip ikaw pala yan hahaha. kumusta! kelan pa pare yun application mo? nag aapply naman kami ng visa 190. waiting ako sa approval ng state sponsorship ng NSW. may pre invitena kami. kapag na approve yun state sponsor, next step is visa lodge na. magkano ba cost ng re assessment ngayon? good luck sa application nyo.

Haha... Bro di ko napansin profile photo mo. So you are applying for PR? Open na ba? Re assessment is 489aud and fast assessment is 1400aud. Kaya mahal if ill make another assessment although I will be able to reimburse one process to my employer.

@phil_chobs sir regarding your assessment, better nga na magpa-reassess ka na lng. Pagnakita kasi nila ung title na "architect/ Designer" sa job title mo sa COE's mo malaki chance na ma-negative ka. ang ginawa ko sa akin dati nung nagpa-assess ako pinabago ko lahat ng COE ko at pinalagay ko title either draftsman/ draftsperson or architectural assistant tapos ung job description kung ano ung nasa ANZSCO un ung nilagay ko pero syempre binago ko ng onti para di obvious.

"Re-assessment" kasi ang gamit na term if na negative ka tapos dadagdagan mo pa ng ibang docs aside dun sa nasubmit dati wc in my case, may term na Architect/Designer na.

Pwedi po ba mag pa assess ang isang fresh graduate ng Architecture as a "Civil Engineering Draftsperson" thru Engineers Australia?

Pag sa Vetassess kasi you need work experience. Sa Engineers Australia, pwedi ka yata mag pa assess ng Education lang. Any thoughts?

Just would want to confirm ano po ba score requirement sa Architectural Daftsperson in IELTS?

Also, is it under Academic or General Training type of exam?

@phil_chobs depende yan sir sa ina-applyan mo na state or territory, sa NT kasi 6 ata lang so sa ibang state u have check sa knilang website..
mas maganda aim for 7, 8 and 9 kasi may additional points yan. GT ang alam ko for technical industry, anyway makikita mo ulit yan sa kanya kanyang govt website ng territory/state na applyan mo. God bless.

Has anyone tried po ba "Civil Engineering Draftsperson" via Engineers Australia?
Baka po kasi pag makita nila na Architecture Graduate, hindi na nila e entertain sa EA. Sayang nmn po ang bayad mag pa assess. hehe. TIA.

@mfvquines sir 60pts my SS na? ..sir nde po ata walang pagasa.. pag ka willing ka mgantay lahat my chance.. kpag ka ngmamadali ka pwde po ba pataasain scores mo..sa case ko noon 60pts ako with na..nainip ako ng 1mon walang invite.. ngpataas n ako thru PTE ayun n nga less than a month na invite n ako. Sabi ng mga seniors dto point system uubusin ang mtaas muna kaya aantay k tlga. Kpag ubos n ang mtaas at iinvite daw nila mga 60 pointers. hopefulky nde pa po close ang nominated mo. Na state. Kaya yan sir

Ako 2 months ng waiting ng NSW state sponsorship. 60+5 points din. Planning to take PTE again this January kung talagang di pa ko ma invite. This time, paghahandaan ko na talaga yung exam para makakuha ng katumbas ng ielts 8. Kasi sa immitracker may kapareho ako ng years of experience, sa ielts lang sya lamang pero sya na invite na, samantalang kaka lodge nya lang 2 weeks ago ng EOI. Wala eh, feeling ko kailangan talaga mataas points bago ma invite.

@kpantig18 uu nga sir pataasin mo na habnag ngaantay ka ng pre-invite mo.. para at lis yung time n nagaantay ka nmngaaral kana din para sakto sir kpag mataas n scores mo. Update agad eoi

65 points ako but i got invited for SS after 2 weeks of lodging my application. I think depende sa state or sa sipag ng CO's kung gaano kadami ang nagapply.

Hi po.. Gano po ba kabilis ang invitation ngayon for Architectural Draftsperson? Katanggap lang po kc hubby ko ng result ng IELTS, plan namin mag pasa ng EOI this week. Ang points po nya ay 75 pts including na yung ss po.

@kaidenMVH - puwede ko kaya kmi sa 190 sa NSW? doon po kc ang target namin sana... kso sbi ng iba bihira daw ngayon makuha ng invitation sa 190 kdalasan daw ngayon ay 489 lng ang ibinibigay... Baka meron pa po kyong ma suggest na iba pang states na puwede ang application for 190 na mabilis din for architectural draftsperson. Salamat ng marami!

@mickeymynes14 open po ngayon ang NSW visa 190 para sa atin. as long as you have a positive assessment from Vetasses job code 312111, malaki po ang chance na ma invite kayo with 75 points. i'll suggest na gumawa na kayo ng EOI sa skillselect, apply for visa 190 & choose NSW as sponsoring state asap. with 75 points siguro 2-4 weeks may pre invite na kayo from NSW. then once ma invite kayo, just fill up the form/link na ibibigay ng NSW, pay 300AUD para naman sa state nomination. max processing time for this is 12 weeks pero meron mga cases na 4-6 weeks lang ay approve na ang state sponsorship. go na po kayo hanga't open si NSW.

@kaidenMVH - Nkaka excite nman po tlga ang stage na ito. Actually may agency kmi nka pag open narin kmi ng account EOI for NSW at SA intay ko lang yung update sa agency para sila mag finalize ng pag submit sbi ko today gawin na. Although kaya ko nman tapusin kaya lang bka mag karoon ng problema since may agency kmi. Kayo po kamusta na yung application nyo for 190 NSW? Na invite npo kyo? Anong stage npo ba kyo ngayon? Sister inlaw ko nman nag apply sila 489 SA bilis 10days lang ngayon for medical na sila agad… Tyo po ba once ma invite yun na yung next step na gagawin completion of requirements including medical?

@mickeymynes14 waiting na po sa ITA from skillselect. na invite nako last Oct 20, applied last Oct 28 and received by NSW yun application ko for state sponsorship. hopefully this week meron na ITA, sunod sunod na email ni NSW ng approval this week.

@kaidenMVH, Hello po. Good news po! Tango nap namin pre-invitation ng NSW kahapon bale swerte po in 4days po may reply na sila agad. Hindi pa namin ma proceed ang acceptance kc sbi ng agency wag daw billion may draw pa at sensitive daw tong part na ito sila daw bahala. Ka intay innate din kmi hopefully matapos next week.
