Good to hear from you peeps, tnx a lot. Will definitely try to pursue our dream this year, Im still preparing for my PTE exam though, sana makapasok, goodluck sa ating lahat :)

Bakit Australia? Brokenhearted almost 3 years ago kaya napilita akong umalis ng PH. Nagstudent na lang ako sa AU.

    Bakit Australia?

I believe we will be well taken care of... How do I know?

They attempted whatever they can do to save them even staking the country's name.

1st attempt: Australian government official said to Indonesia. We are one of the first respondents when tsunami strucked Indonesia. We don't want to taint our bilateral relations. Indonesia said "No"

2nd attempt: Australian government official said to Indonesia. We have Indonesian prisoners in Australia. If you want we can exchange the prisoners. We will put to jail the 2 Australian citizens in our homeland. Indonesia said "No"

3rd attempt: Australian government official said to Indonesia. Compute all the expenses such as accomodation, food and security. We will pay as long us don't kill the Australians. Indonesia said "No"

Eventually death penalty was handed over to 2 Australian drug traffickers.

I know the 2 drug lords did something wrong and are convicted. But how much more for those law abiding citizens. Australia will take care of you.

matagal ng walang update dito.. nagtry magbasa ng ilang page and marami narin ako natutunan..

Why Australia? I'm a dad with two daughters. I asked my wife na magtry sa Oz dahil dito sa Singapore eh hindi naman permanent ang lahat although hindi ako nagtry mag-apply ng PR. but sobrang mahal dito kaya nagpush ako magtry sa ibang bansa and ito nga ang napili ko. meron din akong pinsan sa Perth kung need ko ng help eh handa naman sila magsupport but hindi sa sponsoreship. :)

hehe @just.anotherguy , may point si Davidx23 , parang naiisip ko nga minsan na mas madali ang process ng ca since binoboost nila yung immigration within the nxt 3 yrs.. may dalawa kameng couple friends na kasabay na nagapply pero sa canada sila and nakuha naman agad in less than 6mos.. nagsunudan din tuloy yung iba.. hahah.. well to each his own, i guess.. :P anyway since nasimulan mo na research for au, go for it..! goodluck sir :)

ACS application - Dec 30, 2012 (Software Engineer)

Kc during that time, kokonti lang yung may holder ng certification ko dito sa au kumpara sa canada. In terms of labor market, makikipag compete ka ba sa mga locals with the same credentials or kung saan ka may edge. Tska, hirap na mag-move from ph to ca to au then balik ulit ca? Another reason is credit rating, pag palipat-lipat ka mahirap mag-apply ng credit cards and loans (mortgate, carloan). Lastly, ok na rin dito lalo na sa brissy, petiks lang polos and rubber shoes for work, madali lang public transpo mostly maluwag, wla masyadong trapik (well dito sa area ko).

There's only a few things a miss about ca - snow, $100/mo unlimited TTC (public transpo - train, tram, bus) nuclear power (cheap electricity) and cheetos.

Ang mahalaga makuha yung blue passport then all access ka na mapa europe or US.

@Davidx23 baligtad tayo. Ako mas gusto ko banking system sa ca. Wala namang fees yung akin non as long as may imaintain ka na amount. Meron din namang totally free talaga like tangerine.

But i haaaaate winter at sa winnipeg kc ako galing. Snow ok lang pag first snowfall.

So ayon. Mga Canadian namimiss ko and of course mga relatives ko. Haha

US, or other European country?

Aside from there comments, I choose Australia since it caters people in every country. Yes, every country caters people from other places as well but Australia is different. They are not racist and embrace you as who you are. I like there Slang words. Moreover, they are the reason why I watched Game of Thrones since people there are into it.

Everyone. Anyone from here who is working already in Australia as Lab Scientist ? I would just like to know how is the working environment there and possible difficulties in job hunting for a Med Lab Scientist position?
    Thank you

I chose Australia para hindi ganon kalayo sa parents and grandparents ko in case may mga emergencies. Kasi po may relatives kami na nasa US then if nagkakaemergency, ang hirap makauwi. At magisa ako first time ko po on my own to migrate permanently, 26 years old palang po ako ngayon.

And rinig ko po mas mataas ang sahod ng IT sa Australia compared sa Canada?

Currently lodged my 189 visa and hoping to receive my grant soon po :)

While applying po in Australia, may nameet ako sa OZ na boyfriend ko na ngayon, mas lalong hindi magmamake sense na sa Canada ako lumipat or USA. bonus lang na may lovelife na nahanap while on my PR journey :)

I still pursued to apply independently for my PR ng hindi umaasa sa boyfriend na Australian to sponsor me for a partner visa. Iba pa rin ang pinaghirapan talaga and iba yung tamis ng tagumpay pag nakakuha ng ITA through hardwork.
