Hello po. Alam nyo po ba anong current turn around time for 457 visa subsequent entrant? Planning to lodge my visa soon as my wife is on 457 visa and is currently in Australia.Thank you.

@MRoseDollente I hope you don't mind me asking po panu pag umokay yung employer sila ba usually yung ngbbayad ng visa fee, airfare pa AU plus health insurance? Gusto ko lang po mgka idea, thank you.

Newbie here...hi po sa lahat...my husband po is an auto mechanic, my mg sponsor sa kanya under 457 visa, hinde lng po namin alam where to start...anu po kaya maganda mg agent po kami o DIY n lng...thank you

Mas cheaper pag DIY less hassle nga lang pag may agent kaso mahal... meron nga akong alam, agency dito sa Pinas tapos ipapasa ka pa uli sa agent sa Australia, kaya doble bayad ka sa placement fee dito sa Pinas at professional fee para sa agent sa Australia, siguro abutin ka ng more than half a million kasi sagot mo din ung skills assessment at IELTS kung di ka exempted. Kaya kung maaari wag ka na dumaan sa mga agency dito sa Pinas, pwede dumerecho ka na lang sa recruitment agency sa Australia para di ka madoble gastos, or kung confident ka naman, mag DIY ka na lang, marami naman ditong guide about sa pag process ng 457 visa at OEC. Sa mga katatapos lang mag-asikaso ng 457 visa at OEC, paki-update na lang po sa requirements and fee. Salamat!

Hi guys and gals just need your advice. Nasa Manila ako ngayon and I am arranging with my current company in PH to have us sponsored and relocated to AU probably via 457 sub class. Based on my knowledge, under this sub class, you are allowed to bring your immediate family with you. Question is, kasabay ko ba sila pag alis ko ng bansa or may waiting period pa bago ko sila makuha? Also, under what type of visa ang maibibigay sa kanila? Thank you in advance.

Hi @Pherds. Yes, you are allowed to include dependent applicants under 457 visa as long as your sponsoring employer agrees to extend their sponsorship to your dependents. If they do, then you can add them as secondary applicants under your 457 visa. So depending on your arrangement with your employer you can add them upfront when you lodge your application or after you have been granted with a visa. Hope this helps.

Salamat @aanover Follow up question na din po. Pwede ba mag apply si misis sa AU ng work under my sponsoship given that the company allowed me to add them as secondary or does she have to go thru a different process in order to nail a job?

Why not try visa 187...its a PR visa since willing ka naman sponsoran ng employer mo

@Pherds pag na-aapprove sya as your dependent, she will also be given work rights, meaning she can work having 457 dependent visa.

@fgs, i think 187 is only applicable to onshore applicants.

Guys meron nb nagrant ng visa this month? Ung saken e more than 3 months na ganun ba talaga? Since may 2016 assessment in progress na status wala na namn hiningi additional docs after ko ma submit ung medical noong may 19.

Just want to ask regarding medical health exams for Au under 457 visa. My employer already asked us to undergo health exams.. Ang problem Po is my wife has kidney stones and she is supposed to undergo shockwave in 2 weeks time. Just want to ask Po what exams were done Ksi we are thinking of either doing the medical before or after the shockwave. Salamat Po.

Hi guys.. I am currently working as a Marketing Head in a retail company for almost 2 yrs. I also worked for 2 yrs in Singapore as a retail sales consultant. I am seriously considering looking for a job in australia via the 457 visa. I have continuously applying online via seek.com.au; some had responded but they are not open to hiring offshore. Is there any other way to acquire that visa though im here in ph? I would really appreciate anyone who can give some tips to a newbie applicant here. thank u in advance.

Sa mga ganitong cases, may epekto po ba sa application sa aust ang may hep b?at gaano po ba katotoo na pag 457visa wala daw pong hepa b screening sa medicak?and just in case po na wala nga, dapat ko po bang sabihin sa agency na may hepa b ako?natatakot po kc ako baka hinde nila ako tanggapin. Salamat sa sasagot.sana mag share yung may ganitong cases kung anong ginawa nila at ano ng status and result.maraming salamat.

@hope14344 sa case ko, yes walang initial medical exam not unless i-declare mo siya. nag declare ako, para walang problema in the future.

@luchi hi, yes you can have 457 visa, pero kelangan may magsponsor sayo nun. so kelangan mo talaga magtyaga na makahanap ng company na mag ssponsor sayo.

@ohzie my status kc ng application is for vettasses balak ko sana sabhin sa agency pag mag memedical na ako.yung sa inyo poba sa simula palang sinabi nyona?.natatakot kc ako pag sinabi ko agad baka ni pag fill up ng application hinde nako ipa proceed pauwiin nako.salamat sa reply.

@hope14344 yup, informed na agad yung employer simula palang. mas okay na yung ganun kesa sa huli pa malaman. saka yung gamot ko kasi is sa pinas pa bibilhin mahal kasi dito. kaya no choice to declare it
