@eyenurse hi. im from dxb too working for more than 4 years now. unfortunately, you really need COGS from DHA. and you cannot get that if you dont have DHA license. AHPRA is very clear on that. they dont need all those recommendation letter. its not one of the requirements.

good evening po sa lahat dito sa forum, hihingi po sana ko ng advice sa lahat.
i'm a civil engineer planning to lodge visa 189.
my girlfriend is a registered nurse in the philippines with 2 yrs clinic nurse exp without hosp experience.
gusto ko po sana sya isama sa au as my de facto with partner visa.
tpos i'm thinking na pakuhain sya ng bridging while in australia so she could also work there.
ang question ko po is ano mas ok, kunin ko sya as defacto partner visa at isama sken sa au,
or apply sya ng sarili with visa 189 or other types of visas applicable?

di ko po kasi alam ang mga pwedeng maging circumstances. maraming salamat po sa sasagot!

    @yssabanana

You need to have an English test then you have to fill up the AGOS Form 40 then submit the needed documents. You can check the requirements on the first page of this link. http://pinoyau.info/discussion/8762/nurses-what-you-need-to-know/p1

You also have to submit your certificate/Diploma from your Uni here in Au.

@Cassey thank you. clarify ko lang rin, pde nba ako magrequest ng certificate of good standing from prc at int'l criminal history check as early as now? iniisip ko kc baka mauna siya masend sa AHPRA before ako actually makapagprocess ng application.

@yssabanana It would depend on when you’ll be submitting your documents. I can give you an estimate. Usually, COGS turnaround time is 2weeks... With Intl Criminal Hx Check, if I remembered it right, it’s around 2weeks as well. I think I’ve read somewhere that AHPRA will keep your papers for 60days, I just can’t remember where though.

@yssabanana as soon as ma finish mo na yung exams pr placement mo sa uni, submit mo na lahat reqs mo sa ahpra. nsa website yung list nila. for the meantime, process mo na din yung COGS mo sa PRC kasi 3 months nmn validity nun. pg nasubmit mo na yung sa ahpra docs, i pdala mo na din yung cogs. and apply for your ICHC days before ka mg submit sa ahpra. but sa na observe ko ngaun, mej mabagal ang ahpra sa dami ng nag apply. but priority nila ang mga galing uni.

@kymme thank you! ung ICHC ba online nlang pag request? may nagsabi kc sakin, pdala daw ako ng authorisation letter sa family ko sa pinas pra cla magprocess sa NBI tapos ipa-mail ko daw dto sakin ung result. confused tuloy ako.

@yssabanana ICHC is different from NBI. yung ichc online process yan lahat and cla na mg back ground check s lahat countries napuntahan mo. altough u still need NBi for PR. but if PR kana, no need na.

Ask lang po, regarding serology.. Before po mag brdiging kailangan po ba kumpleto na vaccines ko especially yung hepa b? Hanggang booster po ba ang kailangan?

@moogz02 Yes, you need to have your vaccines completed, some prefer to do it in the Phils because it’s cheaper. You can do serology test to know whether you need booster shots.

@simplyg if you have 750k-1mil at hand.. pwedeng wag ka ng mag philman... pero kung wala kang ganung pera at hand, its hard to migrate to australia or even start BP na wala kang financial resources...

I have nothing against nurses going middle east, kaso ang problem dun.. walang migration path or citenzenship.... after 5-10 years of working there.. babalik at babalik sila ng pilipinas or mag crocross country din sila.
