Hi everyone. I'm just worried kasi I just received an email from Pearson na nag-request ako to send my test results to DIBP even if I did not. When I checked my account, sent na siya to DIBP yesterday. Hindi ko pa na-achieve yung target ko (I got 84/52/90/90 for L/S/R/W, but I'm aiming for superior)

Wala pa naman akong account na ginagawa sa DIBP, but should I be worried na nagsend si PTE ng test results to DIBP? Or will it be overwritten if ever I send a new one with my desired results?

@HeyThereMaddie no need to worry. Lahat ng ng exams is valid, kung anong reference number ang nilagay mo pag nag lodge ka na ng visa, yun yung iccheck ni DIBP. Baka na tick mo na isend sa DIBP yung scores nung nag i-schedule ka ng exam.

@Heprex Okay, salamat po. So DIBP will just ignore this test result? Kinakabahan po kasi ako baka mahalungkat pa ni DIBP yung test result na ito kapag nag-lodge na ako ng visa since I have the same test taker details hehe.

Hindi ko po ni-tick yung automatic sending to DIBP nung nag-schedule ako, but I selected Australia nung tinanong nila yung country of destination ko. Dapat po ba hindi ko nilagay?

Btw, ano po yung reference number? Is it the registration ID sa score report?

@HeyThereMaddie yep, di papansinin ni DIBP yun unless nakapag lodge ka na ng visa and yung reference ID na yan nilagay mo. Not sure kung bakit nag send, as far as I remember, basta na tick mo yung " I consent to my score being allocated to DIBP (Australia)", automatic mag send yan after ng result. Anyways, no need to worry.

@clacla I feel the same. I took IELTS almost 3 years ago and I only had to focus on fewer tasks. Unlike sa PTE, na parang ang daming kailangan i-enhance na skill. But I guess from what I have been reading, mukhang mas mataas magbigay sa PTE. Haaaay goodluck to us!

salamat sa mga encouraging thoughts nabasa ko dito sa forum after my 2 attempts na failure. salamat sa mga format samples malaking tulong talaga mga advices ninyong lahat.
nag attempt pa ako mag ielts na lng after my 2nd failure, pero kau sa forum ang nag bigay ng lakas sa akin to continue PTE....kau nag bigay ng lakas sa akin pra ma achieve ko score ko....

Hi good evening po. A newbie here, question, if magtake po ako ng PTE exam, anong score ang need ko to get a superior mark? 80pts po ba in each component? or 75 or 76 pts? ung 20pts po sa point system po kasi need ko. thank you

Hi Guys,

I have a newbie question about sa reading part sa PTE exam. Once po ba na natapos nyo na lahat ng module sa reading then may natira pang time. Pwede nyo pa ba ireview yung answers nyo sa multiple-choice,single answer and so on?

sa summary spoken text po ba kailangan din laging meron conclusion? same thing ba sila ni re tell? or can i just summarize it? sumosobra kasi ako sa words minsan..

@caeley sa speaking sa mga halos 5 buwan na pag practice ko mejo hindi na ako nag panic sa read aloud, describe image at re-tell lecture.....so sa 3rd test ko mejo relax na ako at in control na ako sa sarili ko sa pag deliver ko sa pag speak.

Ang ginawa ko na preparation sa 3rd test ko sa speaking is ni record ko all the time ang speaking practice drills ko at may 2nd person (na magaling sa english) ako na tiga assess if ano dapat e adjust ko, like intonation, syllable stress, pronunciation and fluency.
Marami kasi ako na basa dito na gayahin daw ang reporter style like sa BBC

So yon ang ginaya ko parang reporting style

Sa next na speaking drills inapply ko mga corrections ng past drills. Then nag 2 mock test ako focusing on speaking. Sa 1st mock tiningnan ko kung ano outcome sa speaking, then make adjustments and do practice drills ulit. A week later nag 2nd mock ulit, tapos ang result ng mock is 90 na ang speaking. After sa 2nd mock nag conclude kami ng partner ko na ok na ang speaking ko. Then 2 days later exam day na

first timer here from cebu... ok lang ba may dalang medium size backpack bag at the testing center during the exam? diretso na kasi ako airport pauwi after the exam... thanks
