Newbie here.
Graduate po ko from UP Computer Engineering.
Bale 3 years ang work experience ko
mainly as sfotware developer. Target ko po sana Software Engineer
Dun sa nabasa ko may deduction yung ACS
ng 2 years? So 1 year na lang to?
(Planned) Points breakdown:
turning 25 this January - 30 pts
English score Superior - 20 (target)
Bachelor Degree - 15
Total of 65pts.

Pwede na po yung gantong points.
May suggestions po ba kayo kung paano pataasin

@rafaelzita unfortunately, you won’t be able to claim Work experience as yet but I say you’re better if getting the process started than wait another 2 years to pursue your migration opportunities as no one knows how much more difficult or easier the migration procedures could get. Best of luck.

yung job code (anzsco code) ay magbe-base sa roles and responsibility mo. kung pasok ang R&R mo sa 263111, pwede kang magpa-assess sa ACS.

ok, magpa-assess ka sa ACS. dun sa mga may asterisk na generic coe lang makukuha mo, need mo ng statutory declaration dahil kung hindi mo magagawa yun, i-aassess ni ACS yun na "not suitable".

regarding naman sa i-minus, depende yun sa school, grades at subjects. minimum minus two pero can go up to 5 or 6 "ata".

So i got 2 yrs work experience na nacredit.
Then associate lang yun course ko.

Weird since i have colleague who got Bachelor sa course na IT section 3 school which is AMA, im from LYCEUM Section 2 school.

Then sa experience i dont understand why 5 years and binawas.
Im turning 30 this July.

Any advise plan ko mag student nalang sana by next yr.
Worth the try ba na ipa review ko?

maybe because AMA's curriculum is more comparable for AU standards sa code na yan and another thing is grades, baka mataas ang grades ng colleague mo na taga AMA na section 3.

@bankshot15 try computing your grades. If ang GWA mo is 1.00-2.00 then submit a review. Pag section 2 school. Need mo ng 1.00-2.00 gwa for a 4 year course para ma Bachelors degree. Unless 5 year ang courser mo with 200+ units, or meron ka PRC license, bachelors degree yan.

Mga sir bale, na compute ko na GWA ko. 1.9 ganyan yun GWA. then regarding sa friend ko na section 3 AMA? mababa daw grades nya basta lagpas 2 ang average nya since may mga tres daw sya.

IT sir ako sir heprex, no PRC then ayun nga 1.9 GWA ko. Any advise how to submit a review another bayad nanaman yun sir dba. 15k pesos to be exact. Then change assessor sya tama ba? Ang hassle lang siguro need ko mag attach ng document na computation ng GWA ko just to prove them. what do you think?

@bankshot15 i doubt na yung section 3 friend mo is bachelors ang assessment. Unless nag masters sya na related sa field nya at more that 20units. Section 3 school assessed as Advanced Diploma in normal cases. Ask for proof sa friend mo to be sure. All information na binibigay ko sayo is based from CEP, which is may subscription ako dati, kaya medyo pamilyar ako kung pano assessment sa school.

edit: refer ka sa attachment. for sample computation ng grade, grade equivalent, at pano ang bigay ng assessment sa education for section 2.

Question: anong Lyceum ka? yung Laguna?

@bankshot15 you don’t need to seek a r view straight away. Ask for a further explanation as you don’t understand such decision since your average GWA is 1.9. See what they come back with.

@Heprex I got here assessment bro sa AMA sya, not sure which AMA since si ACS di nya state saan lugar. like mine. LPU - Laguna ako pero ndi nilagay na Laguna.

AQF bachelor degree with major in ICT computing. nasakin yun assessment nya then 2 yrs lang nabawas sa kanyang experience. Nagbasa ako ng forums, may cases din na same ng sakin. nag reply sila sa email then pina check bakit ganon. then binago din into Bachelor. so nilagay ko na sa Excel yun grades ko with GWA.

@RheaMARN1171933 nag compose ako email with supporting docs na excel file ng grades ko at ng grading system na mas malinaw then may computation nadin ng GWA.

Kahapon ko lang nag receive so mag rerespond ako sakanila today. sana positive at mabago pa. Bachelor lang talaga habol ko kahit 4 yrs mabago since wala points ang associate eh unless mag masteral ako rito.

Possible ba na mag pa assed ng ibang role lets say... software engineer... even nakalagay sa role name mo is quality assurance engineer? Iccheck pa rn nila based sa description dba?

@kingsolomond Just to give clarification ah. Baka malito ka between "notarized" and "certified copy".

Note: Ito lang din ginamit ko for ACS galing din itong info dito sa forum.

Ang mga notarized lang na docs ko for ACS ay yung mga Reference Letters.
Yung Reference Letter, ito yung letter na may jobs and responsibilities from your manager/supervisor/team lead na dapat kasama ng COE mo (certificate of employment) in case walang jobs and responsibilites ang COE mo. And when you say notarized, eto yung may "subscribed and sworn before me".

Pero yung documents below, hindi need i-notarized pero kelangan certified copy.
1. COE
2. Birth Certificate
3. Diploma
4. Transcript
5. Passport

Hi guys, i'm a newbie here and just starting to process my application for Visa 189.
I don't have enough knowledge with the procedures and requirements yet, just reading and researching to be 100% sure that I am doing the right thing. I'm a CompSci Grad and currently working as a System Admin..

I had a 3 years System Support experience on my previous employer and 2 years and 5 months on the current.

My question is... do you think it is better if I will submit my requirements to ACS for skills assessment on May 2019 so i already have 3years working experience on my current role? Or i can submit it now? Which do you think is better?

And if May 2019, can i already request for a copy of my employment evidence from my previous employer?

May question lang po ako about this. Naka kuha na kasi ako ng mga employment reference letters and certificates of employment, and nais ko na silang ipa certified true copy and/or notarized. Based po sa list ninyo, notarized dapat ang COE and ERL. All other documents, certified true copy.

Eto po tanong ko, sabi dun sa ACS guideline:

Documents Certified Outside Australia can be certified by an equivalent authority within the country of origin. Legal professionals and embassy officials can provide information regarding certification of documents outside Australia.

Saan po ang country of origin? Country of origin ng document? Like if pinas galing ang document (TOR and diploma) sa pinas dapat ipa certify/notarized?

If Singapore galing ang document (COE and ERL), singapore dapat ipa certify/notarized?

Tama po ba ang pagka intindi ko? Gusto ko lang po i clarify.

@iamabcd for my case, 1 doc lang ang notarized sa Pinas (ito yung Stat Declaration ko from my former colleague) tapos lahat na dito na sa SG.

sa pagkakatanda ko may iba dito sa forum that time nung nagaayos ako, sa pinas nila ginawa ang certification at pagpapanotaryo kasi mas mura sa Pinas, ako kasi mejo bz that time kaya tyinaga ko na dito sa SG kahit mejo masakit sa bulsa.
