@Dkc1388 Usually sa public libraries at mga community centers kung saan ka malapit... check mo lang kung may naka-sked na JP.
I noticed nasa Rooty Hill ka... if di regular ang JP dyan check mo sa Parramatta Library.

@skinnyjoyce There are still places offering sponsorship. You can try submitting your resume in regional areas, or try job agencies here in Au. Okay naman yung experience mo, usually kasi hinahanap nila is yung may 3yrs na experience.

@meann Try to google schools offering 1yr Conversion course. Deakin Uni offers it, my hubby paid around $30k. It’s way better than going through another course which can’t guarantee a PR pathway here in Au. You’ll just waste your time and money plus it’s riskier.
We had a first-hand experience with IDP and AECC. Both are great.

@coconglu Hi, you can’t use results taken from 2 sittings for the visa application. You will get 10points if you have scored “B” in all components in one sitting. You might wanna look into other tests as well like PTE if you wanna further increase your points.

@skinnyjoyce No worries at all. Most schools (NOT ALL) have 2 intakes - January and June. I will list all the Uni offering BP and you can go from there. Just search their individual websites to see what suits you most once you receive your LOE. :)

@Cassey i am a nurse here in SG and I am currently seeking registration in Nz (NCNZ), after this I would like to proceed with the registration in Australia via ATMR-40 while im still here. What are the requirements do I need to prepare aside from the certified true copy of my passport? Do you have any idea what are the next steps that I will be going through? also, Do you think I will still be needing bridging program? Thank you.

@n3n_3pqln Hi, sorry but I’m not quite familiar with the process. I don’t think you will still need to do BP if you’ll have a registration in NZ. Check page 9 of the ATMR Form, it should have the checklist of the documents that you need. I’m pretty sure though that you’ll have to go through ANMAC for the Skills Assessment if you want to apply for PR in the long run.

@kymme so pwede ka po pala mag work as part time sa hospital as registered nurse basta auRN kana? Ano job desc ng medical rn and how much po usual pay?

    Another question po
1.) sa conversion po, magkano na eearn nyo sa part time? Enough po ba to support yourself and sa tuition fee?
    2. Have you heard na po ba from someone na nagconversion with a spouse na kasama? Full time po ba nakakapagwork ung spouse ng student?

Hello po. I need your help po.

@paanfsurn what do you mean ‘pinakawork sa hospital as part time’? still work as an RN po. looking after 5 patients am and pm shifts. and 10 during nights. meds, iv, showers, bed making, etc. work as an RN po basically. part time is max 5 shifts/fortnight due to work right limitations sa visa (if on student visa)

@paanfsurn ngayon (as per my friends na kakarating lng), mahirap mk work na related sa nursing like carer sa aged care or nursing asistant s hospitals kasi employers would require certificate in individual support or certificate in health assistant or something. a few years ago, ok lng na wala bsta alam ng employer na overseas RN and doing BP or conversion. it doesnt count as ‘asutralian experience’ din nmn sa pg claim points for PR. only RN jobs ang ma count sa exp for PR

COGS and Police Clearance (fit2work) is valid only for 3 months. You need only to issue a Statutory Declaration, unless circumstances have changed, like nagkaroon ka ng kaso or malpractice. Other docs are surely still with AHPRA.

@lizzie86 If your other experience within the past 5 years exceeds the 450 hours requirement and you have COGS from that experience, wala naman siguro... I suggest that you attach a letter explaining the circumstances of getting COGS from the current employer/registration body.
COGS is very important because it indicates that you have a good standing status and do not have any restriction and/or undergoing any investigation in the practice of the profession but I guess AHPRA has encountered similar situations in the past and the registration officer MAY consider because afterall the application for registration will eventually be rejected and you will be referred to a Bridging Program.

Hi Guys! Apart from how fast the school can submit the names to AHPRA for those who just completed BP... What do you think best to do:

submit AGBP-40 and COGS, 1-2 weeks before BP completion and to follow yung certificate of completion?

    or

wait for cert of BP completion then submit all? Which one is faster?

I sent my AGOS-40 to AHPRA Sydney last time but redirected to Perth. I'm in Sydney now doing my BP, should I send it to AHPRA Sydney or still Perth. I heard mabagal daw yung nasa Sydney. Hope anyone could give me insights especially those who just submitted the AGOS-40/AGBP-40, was the application redirected to a different state?

    Thank you! :)

@LovellaEllen Based on last year's experience, Perth processes faster than Sydney at this time because of the influx of applications due to graduation season. I submitted my docs personally in Sydney but my classmates who sent their documents to Perth received their certificates of registration a week earlier than mine.

Thanks @cucci :) I will send it to Perth as well. When did you submitted the application? Did you waited till you received the certificate of completion of your BP?

@LovellaEllen Sorry for the late reply. I submitted my docs around a week before finishing BP at ACN. ACN took about 2 weeks to send the certification of completion and got the registration Oct of last year.
