If employer sponsors everything.. just sign the nomination form and submit documents like copy(ies) of your passport and your dependent(s), if any, skills assessment, registration certificate and other documents as requested.

If employer only sponsors but you will be processing and paying the visa fees yourself:...
    - sign nomination form, attach documents and submit back to employer/agent
    - employer/agent submits nomination to immigration
    - employer/agent will furnish you the Application ID No or Transaction Reference Number (TRN) which you will need to file your visa application using your immi account
    - using those numbers, you will now file your visa application and attach required documents
    - wait for visa approval

@cucci wala po akong pinirmahang anything sa hospital tapos bigla nila sinabi na nagpprocess na sila ng visa which is odd.. kasi ulit ulit ko pong sinabi maglolodge ako PR so in 2 mos magkakabridging visa ako which is with work permit pero dedma nila un tapos naglodge sila without asking me to sign anything.

@drnc_13 That would be very odd, indeed. But maybe not totally impossible... nagpirma ka na po ba ng employment offer at nag submit ng documents? (passport, AHPRA rego, IELTS, ANMAC assessment?) Pwedeng dun na nila kinuha ang mga details na kailangan sa nomination form. Or baka may ibang procedure kung saang state ka mag work... I can only attest kasi sa pinagdaanan ko sa NSW.

However, if I may suggest, you better clear it up with your employer kasi when they lodge your nomination and application may mga conditions yan, like you work with them for at least 2 years, etc.

Also, since you have an ITA already (am I correct) and intend to lodge your PR application soon... a situation might arise wherein your PR application is granted first and subsequently, the 482.

@cucci yes it is very odd nga po. kaya nagulat ako i haven't signed anything, any contract. the contract was sent to me yesterday and they processed the visa accdg to them nung monday pa. i haven't even sent any documents for them to process anything, just details. diba pag visa sponsorship na processing po they need the documents?

@drnc_13 Nasa Pinas ka pa po now? I would suggest you ask someone to verify kung tunay yang prospective employer mo. As you've said, wala ka pang pinapadalang docs, just details, eh sa submission pa lang ng nomination need na ng copy ng passport, AHPRA rego, IELTS at ANMAC letter of determination. Of course, I may be wrong din kasi baka naman may ibang procedure sila.

@drnc_13 they need a signed employment contract for the nomination part so they couldn't proceed with the application kung walang contract na pinadala sa yo. Then your personal documents comes next for the actual VISA. Check the TSS VISA online para makita mo whole process ng TSS. Tapos contact your prospective employer. Tapos remember to make sure na TSS will be approved 1st before your PR.

@cucci thank you po sa reply :) btw ask ko narin po, actually ung nomination ko approved na last august 2018 pa, kso since ako lang po personally nagaasikaso namis underdstood ko ung skill assessment, I thought mandatory for my field (Sonographer) so I applied for overseas assesment muna ng ASMIRT which took too long before ako nag lodge ng visa application, until I was told na d pa naman daw pala need un. So now left only 3 months before mag expire ung nomination ko, will that affect po ba ung approal ng visa? kc nabasa ko sa DHA website na dapat malodge ung visa within 6 months ng approval ng nomination bt then pina GO parin kc ng employer ko so nilodge ko narin.

@TiffanyAnne I just checked the nomination approval given to me by my employer last Jan 2019. It clearly states validity is 12 months so I don't think it will affect the approval of your TSS. TSS approval is usually between 3-7 weeks from the time the application was lodged so 3 months is more than enough if completo lahat yung required documents.. Also on your 2nd question, it will always be on "RECEIVED" state unless final decision has been made.

hello po ulit, tanong ko lang sana if may idea kayo about skill assessment.
Hindi po kase ako sure kung required un. I know na there are list of occupations na mandatory yung skill assessment, but although wala doon yung occupation ko which is Sonographer, but for skilled migration is under ASMIRT yung assessment na need ko. Yung question ko po is, for TSS 482 need din ba kumuha ng skill assessment or for Skilled Visa lang po yun? kase dumating today yung assessment na inapply ko before and hindi po nla ako binigyan ng positive recognition. According sa result is hindi under Australian Standard yung education and work experience ko. Will this then make my visa 482 application rejected?

    Baka may idea po kayo...

@TiffanyAnne hopefully may ibang mag comment with 1st hand experience. Especially sa area mo.. To be honest this is the 1st time I encountered an occupation without the need of assessment.. I was even under the impression na lahat needed ng assessment when we work overseas or migrate.. Godbless po, hoping for your positive results :)

@LovellaEllen sorry I think I explained it wrongly hehe need ng skill assessment ng Sonographer, and ASMIRT ung assessing body. I'm just not sure if mandatory for subclas 482. Actually confused po talaga ako since ako lang lahat nagreresearch hndi kami gumamit ng agent. I have a friend po kc na Architect naman ung occupation and she didn't do skill assessment, sabi nya she didnt have to since sponsor nominated and plus points lang if may skill assessment. She's now in Australia under medium term. So I dont have an idea if the same applies for my case. Nagbabasa po kc ako ng mga requirements and I sawna ung may mandatory skill assessment are ung like sa trades like the chefs, etc. please correct me if I am wrong.

@TiffanyAnne You might not like it but the answer to your question can be found in this link https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/temporary-skill-shortage-482/medium-term-stream#Eligibility

The requirement for the skills assessment is conditional. Hence, there is a clause "if this is required for your occupation". This could be the reason why your friend didn't need a skills assessment.

Unfortunately, there is a specific clause for medical practitioners. I think they are strict when it comes to medical field.

    Medical Practitioners
If the nominated occupation is a medical practitioner, you must have your qualifications recognised by the relevant authority in Australia for the registration of medical practitioners as entitling you to practise as a medical practitioner.

Some primary TSS visa applicants must undergo a mandatory skills assessment as part of the visa application process. Applicants who fit into this category and the type of assessment required are outlined in the legislative instrument on Skills assessment. Depending on your nominated occupation, this will be a skills assessment by Trades Recognition Australia or VETASSESS.

Important: where a mandatory skills assessment is required, it must be commenced before lodging your visa application or your application will not be valid and will not be processed. As a result, you will be asked to provide a relevant skills assessment reference number when completing your application form.

You are encouraged to complete the skills assessment process before lodging your visa application to reduce processing delays.

    Note:

we can request a skills assessment as part of the visa application process even where it is not mandatory. You will be requested to do so in writing where this is the case
a relevant skills assessment is different to being registered with an appropriate regulatory body

@SAP_Consultant thank you so much for this information.

I have talked to my sponsor and we have found that we actually should have lodge for Cardiac Technician rather than Sonographer since the qualifications from Asia falls under Cardiac Technician rather than Sonographer which is a Bachelor's Degree in Western countries. but since training and certification lang sya sa Asia like sa Philippines(and Singapore where I am currently working) kaya hindi sya accredited ng ASMIRT.

If we will push through Cardiac Tech rather than Sonographer then sa VETASSES ko need ng skill assessment and mas qualified ung credentials ko.

Do you have any advice for me kung paano pwedeng magchange ng occupation since na lodge na namin ung visa application and wala pa results? I am aware na need ng new nomination kc ibang job title/occupation. So kailngan ba antayin na muna lumabas ung visa results whether rejected or may possible way ba mapalitan un?

@TiffanyAnne try to log in sa Immiaccount mo, maybe there's an option to cancel it or withdraw. I assume as well that the employer needs to redo the nomination and nominate you as Cardiac Technician specifically.

@LovellaEllen Thank you for this, I'll check on it. It's quite unfortunate for me na ung occupation ko is a bit complicated dahil sa magkaibang standars and job title from home country and Australia -_- hopefully I could still get a visa since very keen and patient naman ung sponsor ko. Just worried din na this will affect further visa applications.

@TiffanyAnne Yeah, it's a bit tricky when it comes to title pero sa job responsibilities sila nagbabase. Sorry, your case is a bit complex so I'm not sure how to go forward lalo na DIY ata.

@SAP_Consultant yeah super worried tuloy ako :( though sa job responsibilities/description ko is Sonographer naman but then kc sa Australia/visa may dalawang category which is Sonographer and Cardiac Technician, and mas mababa ung criteria sa Cardiac Technician kaya mas mabuti if un ung naiapply for nomination.

I wasn't aware of this kc until nareject yung Skill Assessment ko for Sonographer ng ASMIRT and then I tried to search for other options dun ko lang nakita na meron pala Cardiac Technician.

And yes, unfortunately DIY, ayaw kc ng sponsor ko na mag agent, he keeps saying na we don't need it :(

just to add lang din, for skill assessment

    Sonographer- ASMIRT
    Cardiac Technician- VETASSES

and upon checking mas pasok lahat talaga sa eligibility/qualifications ng VETASSES, kaya if dito sana mas confident ako.

waiting nalang if option ba ng employer ko mag submit ng bagong nomination or baguhin ung visa application :-/

Hi po! may tanong lang ako sa mga 482 visa holders, lets say if approved na visa, meron ba timeline if kelan dapat departure to oz? kasi meron po ako potential employer willing mg sponsor for work visa but we both agreed to start sa Nov this year. But gusto ko sana ma simulan na pg process sa agent since 3 mos notice po yung current work ko. at least mka pag handa nang maaga..salamat po sa sasagot.. : )

share ko narin just in case para sa mga future applicant.

Visa granted na dn po ako.
    date of application: May 17
RFI (PCC and medical): May 24
    RFI submitted: May 29
    Visa granted: May 30
    Total days: 15days

    Primary applicant, medium stream.

I can see din na kahit saang forum very rare ung occupation ko- Sonographer; medical utlrasound tech, kaya mejo nahirapan ako mag gather ng infos since DIY ung application ko, so for future Sonographer applicants. Even Radiographers and Medical Imaging techs, hindi na natin need ng ASMIRT skill assessment if 482 visa, meron lang nakalagay na terms sa visa pag na grant na that you should acquire ung membership or registration within 90days of arrival if need sya sa place na pupuntahan nyo. Hope it will help para sa mga next :)

@catherine Your employer/sponsor will inform you as to your employment start date.. however, you can already enter Au on your 482 visa anytime on or before your start date. Just be aware that to be able to exit the Phils using your 482 visa as main applicant, you will be required to secure an OEC from POEA/OWWA.
