If employer sponsors everything.. just sign the nomination form and submit documents like copy(ies) of your passport and your dependent(s), if any, skills assessment, registration certificate and other documents as requested.
If employer only sponsors but you will be processing and paying the visa fees yourself:...
- sign nomination form, attach documents and submit back to employer/agent
- employer/agent submits nomination to immigration
- employer/agent will furnish you the Application ID No or Transaction Reference Number (TRN) which you will need to file your visa application using your immi account
- using those numbers, you will now file your visa application and attach required documents
- wait for visa approval

However, if I may suggest, you better clear it up with your employer kasi when they lodge your nomination and application may mga conditions yan, like you work with them for at least 2 years, etc.
Also, since you have an ITA already (am I correct) and intend to lodge your PR application soon... a situation might arise wherein your PR application is granted first and subsequently, the 482.

I know na there are list of occupations na mandatory yung skill assessment, but although wala doon yung occupation ko which is Sonographer, but for skilled migration is under ASMIRT yung assessment na need ko. Yung question ko po is, for TSS 482 need din ba kumuha ng skill assessment or for Skilled Visa lang po yun? kase dumating today yung assessment na inapply ko before and hindi po nla ako binigyan ng positive recognition. According sa result is hindi under Australian Standard yung education and work experience ko. Will this then make my visa 482 application rejected?
Baka may idea po kayo...

The requirement for the skills assessment is conditional. Hence, there is a clause "if this is required for your occupation". This could be the reason why your friend didn't need a skills assessment.
Unfortunately, there is a specific clause for medical practitioners. I think they are strict when it comes to medical field.
Medical Practitioners
If the nominated occupation is a medical practitioner, you must have your qualifications recognised by the relevant authority in Australia for the registration of medical practitioners as entitling you to practise as a medical practitioner.
Some primary TSS visa applicants must undergo a mandatory skills assessment as part of the visa application process. Applicants who fit into this category and the type of assessment required are outlined in the legislative instrument on Skills assessment. Depending on your nominated occupation, this will be a skills assessment by Trades Recognition Australia or VETASSESS.
Important: where a mandatory skills assessment is required, it must be commenced before lodging your visa application or your application will not be valid and will not be processed. As a result, you will be asked to provide a relevant skills assessment reference number when completing your application form.
You are encouraged to complete the skills assessment process before lodging your visa application to reduce processing delays.
Note:
we can request a skills assessment as part of the visa application process even where it is not mandatory. You will be requested to do so in writing where this is the case
a relevant skills assessment is different to being registered with an appropriate regulatory body

I have talked to my sponsor and we have found that we actually should have lodge for Cardiac Technician rather than Sonographer since the qualifications from Asia falls under Cardiac Technician rather than Sonographer which is a Bachelor's Degree in Western countries. but since training and certification lang sya sa Asia like sa Philippines(and Singapore where I am currently working) kaya hindi sya accredited ng ASMIRT.
If we will push through Cardiac Tech rather than Sonographer then sa VETASSES ko need ng skill assessment and mas qualified ung credentials ko.
Do you have any advice for me kung paano pwedeng magchange ng occupation since na lodge na namin ung visa application and wala pa results? I am aware na need ng new nomination kc ibang job title/occupation. So kailngan ba antayin na muna lumabas ung visa results whether rejected or may possible way ba mapalitan un?

I wasn't aware of this kc until nareject yung Skill Assessment ko for Sonographer ng ASMIRT and then I tried to search for other options dun ko lang nakita na meron pala Cardiac Technician.
And yes, unfortunately DIY, ayaw kc ng sponsor ko na mag agent, he keeps saying na we don't need it
just to add lang din, for skill assessment
Sonographer- ASMIRT
Cardiac Technician- VETASSES
and upon checking mas pasok lahat talaga sa eligibility/qualifications ng VETASSES, kaya if dito sana mas confident ako.
waiting nalang if option ba ng employer ko mag submit ng bagong nomination or baguhin ung visa application :-/

Visa granted na dn po ako.
date of application: May 17
RFI (PCC and medical): May 24
RFI submitted: May 29
Visa granted: May 30
Total days: 15days
Primary applicant, medium stream.
I can see din na kahit saang forum very rare ung occupation ko- Sonographer; medical utlrasound tech, kaya mejo nahirapan ako mag gather ng infos since DIY ung application ko, so for future Sonographer applicants. Even Radiographers and Medical Imaging techs, hindi na natin need ng ASMIRT skill assessment if 482 visa, meron lang nakalagay na terms sa visa pag na grant na that you should acquire ung membership or registration within 90days of arrival if need sya sa place na pupuntahan nyo. Hope it will help para sa mga next
