There is a push to include it. Nothing official as yet...and yes! Offshore applicants can be prioritised as long as it’s on the PMSOL. Hence, all the more reason to get things moving, be document ready, exhaust all possible ways to increase points and get on the EOI ASAP!

Payment evidences are required for employment skilled assessment, doesn’t matter which country you’re working.

Oh I see. Anyway, I am just speaking based on my experience since they did not require payment evidences from me. I just submitted my labor contract and work permit visa.

I would assume that the labour contract would state the salary. Hence it would fall under payment evidence. In order to assess the skilled employment experience, the actual work should be paid otherwise the assessing authority will not consider the experience. Immigration will only also consider paid work experience as skilled work experience. Hence the need for payment evidence.

Hi, everyone. I would just like to ask if there would be any problems if I get assessed by EA for skilled employment. I am an engineering graduate but my 5 years experience is in operations related to my field but as supervisor/manager, not as engineer. Is EA the right assessing authority or Vetassess? Here is my background:
Degree: Agricultural Engineering
Experience:
2 years - Production Supervisor (Poultry Processing Plant - Philippines)
2 years - Production Manager (Poultry Processing Plant - Philippines)
1 year - Processing Supervisor (Poultry Processing Plant - Overseas)
Thank you.

Hi guys. Need your experience with Australian immigration. My GF (25F) and I (25M) come from chemical engineering backgrounds in the Philippines with fairly good academic records. She has only 1yr experience as Production Engineer before being retrenched due to the covid-19 lockdown while I have 1.7 years work as Materials Engineer. I am currently unemployed for further studies. Our points is 75 for visa subclass 189. Do you think we have a chance to be invited by the Australian Immigration (once borders open) because I heard you need 90 points for an invitation and since we only have 1 year experience as engineers?
We have not yet been assessed by EA. Since we cannot get +5 points for the 3 years experience offshore, we don’t need to get the RSEA option for EA assessment?

189> Ipon ipon muna a\ng points. dahil sa covid 19, marami na po nakapila..Unless, medical laboratory scientist, some medical allied fields, nurses. Pwede na yan points na yan
(Pili kayo ng job na closely related sa ANZSCO code niyo) pero mahirap dahil sa rate ng unemployment ngayon, 8 years to max out points
Fairly good academic - 20 points siguro yan sa PTE....
So wag muna magPTE and Naati. Dapat may job na ngayon na kasi mababawasan ang points niyo pag naging 33 years old na po kayo.
All the best.

hello mga kapatid na mechanical engineer. Good day sa inyo. ask ko lang pano if ME ako pero most recent experience ko is Material management ng oil and gas equipment and materials, is this a good narrative for a career episode? medyo malayo i think yung MM sa Mech Engg. Pero I saw sa ANZSCO na may group of IE, Production, ME (shown below) na may Material management. Ano po ibig sabihin nung sub group na yun? is it still acceptable for ME to put Material M as career epiosode?
SEE:

Description
design, organise and oversee the construction, operation and maintenance of mechanical and process plant and installations, establish programs for the coordination of manufacturing activities, and ensure usage of resources is cost effective.
Tasks

establishing work measurement programs and analysing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation

Hi po. ME din po ako. I think kaya naman po irelate primarily sa ME yung career episodes niyo. Support niyo lang ng ME terminologies, theories and calculations. It would be advantageous kung dun ang pathway natin.

Hello, ilang points makukuha if na-assess as Electronics Engineer? Bigla ako nalito kung 15 points (Bachelor's) or 10 (A diploma or trade qualification completed in Australia; or other award or qualification recognised by the skills assessing authority)?

Agree ako sa sinabi ni @jakibantiles. Kung magagawa mong mairelate sa code description ng ME yun ginagawa mo, much better. List down all your duties and responsibilities, at i-self assess mo kung makukuha mo yun lahat nun elements per MSA manual.
I presume yun Material Management ay nasa same umbrella ng Supply Chain or Procurement. If tama assumption ko, I think you can relate it to ME kasi nagagamit mo yun background and skills mo as ME. Just think of those instances that would demonstrate that. To be honest, hindi highly technical ang CEs ko. As they always say here, basahin mo yun MSA manual thoroughly and make it as a starting point para madraft mo yun CDR. If in doubt, better consult an agent.

Buti pinaalala saken ni @RheaMARN1171933 na work reference letter dapat not Certificate of Employment. That time di ko pa kasi nababasa yun EA MSA manual. Hehe.
So, ginawa kong technique dito, ako mismo nagdraft nun content ng work reference letter. Then, saka ko kinausap department manager ko about it then nag-email ako sa HR namen for approval.

Sure. No problem. I can help you. But, I suggest to have an outline first for the content. Writing style should be in active voice. When writing, do not be conscious of your the number of words, grammar, flow, etc. Just let your ideas flow. Once you have the draft, we can use that as a springboard for revision to make it a strong narrative of your career.
Hahaha. But, I was able to trim it down to 4 pages with 1957 words.
