Hello mam/sir! I just received my results from EA and I got the ff:
Prof Engineer- Civil Engineer
Bachelor Degree for the Qualification
.. However, I got Nil in Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment. Does that mean.. I can't get any points for my Work Experience outside Australia?
Thank you in advance.

Many say pde pa dn nman as long as you can prove it kay home affairs later on. But its sort of a risk dn bka mg-over claim ka ng points and that can lead to refusal. Usually RSEA is used pang-back up sa work experience claim sa points. We’ll for me better consult a migration agent/lawyer para ma-guide ka nila.

Kaya nga po. may nakita kc akong nagsabi they did not avail the RSEA.. I can't just not show it in case they ask for my supporting document sa result ko sa CDR. Pano kaya?

Better consult a migration agent/lawyer who has vast experience on this they’ll know better sa dami ng cases na nahandle nila and they probably know now how to go about it. Goodluck!

Basically, it’s hard to understand why NIL yung experience without seeing the actual outcome. You’ll need to ask EA the reason why. Either you really didn’t meet the ANZSCO defined occupation tasks or insufficient evidences.
At your own risk if you want to claim experience still. Based on the limited information given in your post, I will have second thoughts claiming work experience if I were you. Firstly, you were assessed and they didn’t recognise your work. That will be alarm bells for the case officer handling your visa application. You can’t compare such situation to those who didn’t do RSEA.

Anyone here na registered mechanical engr. and working as a piping design engr na nag pa assess sa EA?
Did you submit CDR only, or CDR+RSEA?
(I am a piping design engr with 8+ yrs of EPC experience in one company)

Good day po. ask ko lang sana kung saang regional state (491) may malaking chance makakuha ng work for Civil Eng'g Draftspersons.

As long as the occupation is on their list then it should be viable. There’s no way anyone can predict which area has a higher chances of getting a job as job hunting involves other factors ie how you sell yourself in the interview, who you’re competing against with for the role, etc

Question lang po. (Professional Engr, Engineering Tech, Eng'g Associate)
I have 7 years working experience as Design Engineer in manufacturing company.
Anyone here same experience? Thank you!

May we know anong eng’g profession are you applying to get assessed? I’m a mechanical engineer but have planning engineer and maintenance works as the bulk of my experience. But i do have projects which required me to use my M.E skills as per EA and anzsco code. It’s just a matter or framing your career episodes to fit in the requirement and provide proof of mechanical engineering education and qualification sa work. I suggest you revisit your JD vs EA and your nominated anzsco code to verify if you can make it work and apply for professional engineer. Hopebit makes sense and goodluck!

Hi Sir, I'm a Mechanical Design Engineer of airconditioning units.
Which is yung CDR na ginawa ko, sa tingin ko is for engineering associate. Ayun. Pina pa revise ng EA. So ok lang naman sir kahit anong category basta ma assess k ng EA then maRecognize? Thanks

Have you looked at job description for air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic? If you haven’t, I suggest you check if duties under this occupation match what you do.

Hello po good day sa inyong lahat!
I was a registered electrical engineer (REE) with 10 years of experience sa building design and construction. Yung skill ko is both have technical and drafting. I plan to take skill assestment as professional engineer. If meron po pa share naman po ng inyong experience sa EA thank you!

Hi anyone here na Instrumentation and Control Engineer ang natapos or may kakilala at nag pa assess
as ANZSCO 233513?
Joined: Apr 16, 2020
Opinion ko lang nman ito but i maybe wrong. Pero ung HVAC design is M.E. nman tlga in nature. I think bka ndi lang na-frame ng mabuti un CDR to highlight un mga competencies na hinahanap ni EA. The way i see it kasi depende yan sa occupation na hinahabol mo (anzsco code) or occupation na gusto mo inominate.

Hi fellow engineers, I need your help, paano ang procedure pag-renew ng EA Skills Assessment?
Joined: Mar 10, 2016
EA skills assessment doesn’t expire but since immigration will only accept up to 3 years since the outcome date, you’ll need to re-instate the letter to make the date current. Thus is explained on the EA website. Hope that helps.

Sharing my EA MSA CDR timeline para may benchmark ang ibang applicants:
04-AUG: Submitted my MSA CDR application (fast track)
23-AUG: Received a positive outcome letter
No contact with assessor. Your mileage may vary hehe.
I did not expect my application will be this fast.
