Meron dati dito sa forum na RN whose visa application was rejected. Marami kasing ANZSCO codes for RNs. Nainvite sya for a different code kesa yung nasa skills assessment nya. Sa refusal yun yung nakaindicate na reason, mismatched ang skills assessment with the occupation in her locked EOI. Maybe you can check with a migration agent para sigurado. Malaki din yung visa fee and magkakaroon ka ng history of visa refusal, which is not good.

I got a 491 invite from SA yesterday. Yung nilagay ko sa EOI is 262112 (ICT Security Specialist). Can I still change the occupation for the state nomination to 262111 (Database administrator) since closely related occupations naman sila?

Nainvite ka dahil yung dineclare mo dun and you can support your claims with paper work.
Kung ano ginamit mo sa EOI, and nainvite ka as ganun, di mo na palitan.
Afterall visa grant nalang inaantay mo, di mo rin masabi if you will practice yung nominated
    occupation mo pagnandito ka na.

Why change occupations? Dahil ba mali yung ICT Sec Specialist and yung tama is Database Admin, or just because? If just because, keep as-is na lang kasi wala namang bearing ang nominated occupation mo sa magiging work mo doon. But if iibahin mo dahil mali, I think you'd need to lodge a new EOI with the correct occupation.

Nagsubmit kasi ako ng multiple EOIs for ICT sec specialist and database admin, pero yung ICT skills assessment ko is for database admin talaga.

"Your skills have been assessed to be suitable for migration under ANZSCO Code 262111 (Database
    Administrator)"

I thought before na I can still use this skills assessment given that closely related occupation naman sila.

Sayang ang invite. All submissions must be based on written evidences not presumptions.

Example Code 1 is 90 pts and above, Code 2 ay 75 pts lang. Do not proceed na maglodge kasi sayang lang.
Unless meron ka ng assessment for both and hindi nagexpire. If nagexpire, parenew ulit

pasok ata sya sa condition #1 from
    immi website:
    Closely-related occupations must be:
1 in the same ANZSCO Unit Group or
    2. consistent with a career advancement pathway or
    3. recognised by an assessing authority that it is closely related to your nominated occupation, as part of your skills assessment

I think it's the other way around, that if your experience/occupation is closely related to ICT Sec Specialist, dapat ICT Sec Specialist yung pina assess mo. general rule of thumb is consistent yung application mo sa documents mo.

I could be wrong, not an agent, but I haven't seen anyone na iba yung occupation sa EOI compare sa assessment.

@RheaMARN1171933 is a registered agent, she can give her insights to this.

That’s the biggest mistake one can ever do. Use the occupation you got assessed for.

I don't think invitation rounds for any visas come announced, so I believe nobody really knows exactly when but of course there are speculations based on the trend e.g. VIC rounds go 'monthly'.

I think the more specific, the better since you are trying to convince them that they should nominate you.

Hello. I received an email from South Australia to apply for State Nomination..

Received ITA to apply for NSW 190! Sunod sunod na sila. Sana 189 naman! :)

did you get Invited to apply for nomination? or di you apply for nomination sa NSW website mismo? Thanks!

PS. I'm asking because I received an email from SA to apply for nomination. Ngayon ko lang nalaman na each state pala inaapply pa to get nominated, then nakita ko meron din NSW. Now thinking if ituloy ko ba mag apply for nomination sa SA (since sila nag email sakin) or try ko NSW (kahit wala sila email sakin).. Limited budget for fees. :)

Kailangan ba maghintay ng invitation to apply for state nomination na email? May natanggap ako invitation to apply from 491 SA pero kung may choice mas gusto ko sana NSW. Kung isa lang ang kaya ng budget, should I go for SA?

Yung sa NSW, pre-invite palang pala yun, not ITA hehe. Although hindi ako nag submit ng Registration of Interest to qualify for pre-invite. Pero if tinuloy ko yung NSW, I would have to pay AUD330 then submit my docs to their portal for their verification.

Bale after receiving the pre-invite (without me having to create any ROI sa portal nila beforehand), I paid AUD343 then uploaded my docs sa skilled migration portal ng SA.

Among all the states, VIC lang ang walang application fee sa Nomination Application. You just have to submit your ROI first bago ka makatanggap ng pre-invite, then eventually, the actual ITA.

QQ- When you say pre-invite, and difference nya sa ITA?

yung email na na-receive ko galing sa SA, ganito ang Title-- "An Invitation to Apply for State Nomination in South Australia"
ang text nya-- "Skilled & Business Migration have reviewed your EOI and would like to invite you to apply for State Nomination in South Australia through the Offshore stream."

ITA na ba ito? And yes, pag tinuloy ko yan, kailangan na mag-bayad. kaya ako napa-research ulit muna. hehe

Yung VIC since Sep 2022 pa ako pinag-ROI na libre, and monthly sinasabi na di pa daw ako napili.

BTW, 491 lang yung pwde sa ANSCO code ko for SA (for offshore applicants).

"Pre-invite" follows EOI submission. Meaning you met the state's initial criteria based sa information na prinovide mo sa EOI mo. Then once you submitted your documents to the inviting state, they will validate your documents against your EOI information and for which you will have to pay the application fee.

"ITA" comes when the nominating state approved your application and referred you for visa lodging. This is when you will receive an email from SkillSelect with the subject line "You have received an invitation to apply for a visa in SkillSelect"

To answer your question RE: SA, that's still in pre-invite stage. Need mo pa magpasa muna ng documents as instructed sa email body and pay the AUD343 application fee, which is by the way non-refundable, ma-invite ka man or hindi :)

Then after maapprove po nomination niyo, you will get another email saying (not sure if same po ulit sa VIC) "Your application for Victorian Government visa nomination under the 190 - Skilled Nominated scheme is now approved."

Then after po nyan minutes or next day po you will get another email para mag apply po ng visa, iyon po iyong ITA. Invitation to apply na po sa visa. Hope this helps po.

Need mo pa magpasa muna ng documents as instructed sa email body and pay the AUD343 application fee, which is by the way non-refundable, ma-invite ka man or hindi :)

any idea on the chances of being approved dito sa pre-invite?
dilemma ko kung kahit papano ba meron na ako better chance dahil nabigyan ako ng pre-invite, or baka income-generating lang sa state na magpa-apply sa madaming tao.

I think malaki naman ang chance ma-approve basta complete and compliant ang documents mo as per their requirements. Be careful lang kasi may specific requirements si SA especially sa Work Experience documents (refer to their checklist)

@leerandyq, if okay nmn lahat ng documents mo. sure na maaprove nmn agad ung pre-invite mo, in my case within a week.

"Your partner must have a skills assessment for a relevant occupation and Competent English."

if ung english points lng niclaim, walang mggng issue.

basta dapat lahat ng nclaim mong points dun sa EOI mo is ma prove mo, maaproved ung invitation mo. :)

190 isn’t subject to priority points. It all depends on the selection criteria of the state. These days don’t worry about points. As long as you reach the minimum points, should be fine. It’s raining invites even on just 65 points. Just get yourself out there!

Same lang ng health care ng permanent and 491

Both will also purchase private health insurance na hindi covered ng medicare like ambulance cover and etc.

Centerlink, under proposal palang sa 491.

Free Tafe Courses ay hindi available for 491 Visa Holders staying at NSW and VIC. Sa ibang states allowed ang 491 to avail free. Check your eligibility. Permanent Visa Holders can avail kahit nasa NSW and VIC

Some jobs require permanent visa and/or citizen status like working in government setting.

Pero you can visit Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.. (limited time lang ito)

Same lang ng permanent, na you have 4 years stay in Australia (check the conditions of stay) then apply citizenship (3 years provisional + 1 permanent + follow the visa condition). sa 189 and 190 (4 years permanent)

Overseas driver's licence pwedeng gamitin sa AU if 491 ka up to the validity of driver's licence and visa whichever comes first. Pag 189 and 190 ka, you have 6 months depending sa state to convert your driver's licence sa state licence upon passing the exams

Feel free pakidagdagan or pakicorrect sa observations niyo)

Hi everyone!

And also, I have updated my contact details and addresses kahit wala pa pong message to update details pero nakareceive pa rin po ako ng message requiring me to update my details.

    2. If you are onshore tapos na grant 190 sa ibang state, how long do you have to move interstate?
    3. Do you have to fulfill to live 2yrs sa state b4 applying for citizenship?
