Professional engineer You read the competency elements ng professional engineer sa EA booklet and possible naman na namemeet mo siguro yun. You can download the booklet dun sa first post ko sa taas. How many years have you been working na po ba? And as far as I know din kasi mas acceptable ang professional engineer. You can use your college projects as one of your career episodes.

By the way magkano na po ba lahat ang naibayad nyong fees including assessmet ng EA tapos pag lodge sa DIAC, IELTS at iba pang expenses. May i know roughly, challenge din kasi pag wala fund na pambayad eh! :-(

Thanks! I assume you're in Singapore.
We already lodged our application last June 26. Humabol talaga kami para di abutan ng new point system. Please pray for us ha.
Anyway, below is the breakdown of our expenses per head (estimated). If you have a partner na included sa application mo and you will claim partner's points, multiply it by 2 except yung visa fee kasi fixed na yung bayad kahit more than 1 kayo dun sa application.
IELTS Exam - 9,000
IELTS result sent to Engineers Australia - 1,500
Engineers Australia Assessment Fee - 20,000
DIAC - 120,000 (nun July 1 nag-increase na sila. From AUD 2575, naging 2900+ na. That's approximately 137,000 pesos)
Other expenses you need to budget:
Medical - 3,500
Police Clearance (NBI) - 200
Birth certificates, marriage certificates, diploma, etc. - 500
Hehe! Sa iba kasi 100 pesos.
Airfare - 25,000 (one way)
Praying na sana pagdating namin dun, at least isa samin is may work na.
Regarding sample CDRs naman, try to sign-up sa forum ng http://philippines.com.au/. Madami samples dun and as far as I can remember meron for ME. Yun nga lang madalas down yun site nila kaya tsambahan mo na lang na up.
Not sure if may na-miss out ako sa breakdown ng expenses. But if may questions ka, don't hesitate to ask. I hope this helps.

My Australian dream pano ko kaya maaabot! Grand total approximately 400,000. Wah!!!!
Thanks, marami kang kababayan natin natulungan mo sa information you share. Keep the faith!!! \:D/

I suggest ang pag-ipunan mo muna is yung IELTS and EA. Tas while waiting for the result ng EA, usually 4 months, ipon ka naman for visa fee. Once ma-lodge mo na and while waiting for the result, ipon ka naman for medical, airfare, pocket money. Usually naman they give 1 year before ka lumipad to AU.

By the way di ko makita sa forum ng Philippine.au.com yung CDR you mentioned. More than 300 pages ata eh. Baka naman may link kang alam. It will surely help me pati na rin ang iba nating kababayan.
Cheers..More power!

2. Ano advisable yung HR manger ang pipirma ng COE or yung Immediate manager? Kalimitan kasi HR manager napirma sa COE pero naisip ko lang pag tumawag ang officer ng DIAC eh di naman alam ng HR manager what detailed ng work natin at performance natin sa work.
3. Pano pag nagsarado na yung previous company na where i work?
4. Pano halimbawa na mag re-request ulit me g bagong COE from previous company, now kung ang reference mo eh yung manager mo dati pero nag resign na din sa company. I assume kasi na tatawag ang officer from DIAC at mag i-inquire regarding sa employment mo.
"1. Obtain evidence such as employment references and detailed duty statements covering the
required period. Employment references must:
• be written on the official letterhead of the company or government department providing the reference;
• The letterhead should indicate clearly the full address of the company and any telephone, fax numbers, e-mail and website addresses;
• The name and position of the person authorised to sign the employment reference should be typed or stamped below that person’s signature;
• The contact telephone number of the person writing the reference should be included in the
letter;
• The letter should indicate the exact period of employment (including whether permanent or
temporary, full or part-time), position(s) held, the 5 main duties undertaken and the salary
earned – positions should not be described by generic titles (eg. research officer, public
servant) but according to the nature of the duties undertaken (eg. research chemist, accounts
clerk); and
• A payslip from your current employment should also be included – this is especially
important from applicants working in government departments."

Yes, as much as possible andun lahat ng details na hinihingi ni DIAC. If di ka na makakakuha from your previous employers, you can submit a notarized statutory declaration with all the required details ni DIAC then state mo na lang dun na di ka makakakuha ng COE because either close na company or di sila nagrerelease ng COE na may JD. Then support it na lang with payslips, employment contracts, tax certificates or even yung mga certificates of SSS/Pag-ibig/Philhealth contributions mo.
Usually HR knows the type of work that you do or your job description. Yun lang naman veverify ni DIAC. They are after your work experience.
3. Pano pag nagsarado na yung previous company na where i work?
Same answer sa number 1, you can submit a statutory declaration. State there na close na yung company and di na yun tatawagan ni DIAC basta with supporting documents lang tulad nun namention ko sa 1.
5. Lastly mali ba or tama pagkaintindi ko yung Certificate of Employment e same lang sa employment reference na binabangit dito sa booklet 6?
Almost the same. Pero for common understanding, COE and employment reference are used interchangeably sa mga forums. Pero if magsusubmit ka na sa DIAC, better use the term employment reference.

Regarding naman if 175 or 176, if gusto mo faster processing ng application go for 176. Hanap ka na ng sponsors as early as possible. The disadvantage lang is you have to stay and work dun sa state na magssponsor sayo for 2 years, medyo limited ang opportunity mo.
