VETASSESS question

Hi all,

Need po ba mgpaassess sa vetassesa if non ict ang bachelors degree? I’ve asked ACS kc and they told me di sila sure and i may need to check wtih DHA.
Just to give a background po, my profession is an accountant but my work is on software implementation (IT).

@ynners usually ACS will advice the equivalence of your degree. I can only assume you applied for RPL? Kasi that's the only time they don't mention about the qualification. If that's the case, you would just need to know under which section of the Country Education Profile to find out how much points to claim for your qualification. That's how PTA VETASSESS is done and charges you for it which isn't necessary.

Hello everyone! Help naman Nagpa PTA ako nun march 24 ko pa napasa application ko but until now wala pa rin result. In progress pa rin ang status online. Gaano kaya katagal ang process ng PTA? Thannks

@daye00, Ako since March 2 nagsubmit for assessment,although magkaiba tayo ng ipinassess na Job. nakareceived ako ng comment from Vetassess exactly 8 weeks and advised me to update my Stat Dec, Nakapagsend ako ng requested doc after a week. until now In progress ang status ko, entering my 11th week. I am hoping na sana positive result!

Hello po.. ang Vetassess ba nagaassess ng Bachelor's degree in Information technology? Nagpaassess kasi ako sa TRA, successful naman kaso di sila naglagay ng equivalency ng education sa result na nilabas nila...for ICT customer support officer po ung pinaassess ko. Salamat po

@chococrinkle @RheaMARN1171933 hi nagbackread ako sa forum na ito...when you mentioned na Points test advise from Vetassess is not a requirement, applicable din ba ito sa ibang Assessing authorities like TRA? I got a "successful" result with them kasi kaso walang namention sa result about my educational qualifications at kung ilang points ang pde ko maclaim sa degree ko. Salamat po

@littlemsnanay As far as I know, for educational assessment, you dont need a points test advise. You just have to identify your school’s section, and must meet the grade req (2.0) if school is section 2.

@littlemsnanay If thats the case, you may want to talk to a migration agent so you’ll be guided. DIY for visa application is possible but you really have to do extensive research.

I received my assessment today after exactly 8 weeks, I just want to check kung tama ba na 6.6 years angpwede kong iclaim at sa eoi portion ba kelangan ko pang ilagay yung 1 year na binawas?

@Hendro when you complete your EOI, it will ask you to provide details if employment in the last 10 years. Just provide all information and declare the ones you will be claiming points for.

@littlemsnanay I know how it feels like having once been in you le place many years ako. If you plan to do it yourself, you really need to make sure you read carefully and take in information in this forum according to how it fits in your situation. You need to apply your own judgement in the end as no case is ever the same. With regards to PTA from VETASSESS, this isn’t a requirement.

Hi all,
Do i need to inform vetassess that I already uploaded the dditional requirements they ask? Or enough na that I uploaded it? Sobrang tagal na kasi, total of 13weeks na sa kanila.

03/11/18 - 1st submission of requirements
04/27/18 - they informed me about lacking quirements
05/03/18 - Submission of lacking requirements
06/06/18 - still waiting for the results

@ricabanana mas matagal nga yung sa akin e. Nagsubmit kami ng agent ko and nagpa re assess pa. At nung na approve 1 year lng natanggap na year.

@ricabanana nagpa reassess kme ng agent ko and inimprove namin yung letter of employment. Awa ng Dyos naging ok naman.

@michel_75 hi! I did.. expired last july 2017 and had it renewed nov 2017. You may check with vetassess website regarding renewal.

@ricabanana try mo yun email add nun nag request sayo ng additional docs. most likely sya na may hawak ng case mo. ask mo lang bat natagalan yun result ng assessment sayo but don't forget to appreciate yun effort nya para naman ganahan sya at i approve na nya ng positive yun case mo.

@ricabanana don’t hesitate to follow up especially if beyond 12 weeks na. That’s your right in the end and they need to provide you an explanation. I’ve had a few encounters with VETASSESS where I notice medyo disorganised yung system. They rectify things straight away anyway. Good luck.

@ricabanana nope. that's our wrong impression. they take it seriously to provide better service kapag napupuna sila. di naman sila balat sibuyas, trabaho lang. they will decide based on the merit of your evidence :-) wag po matakot mag feedback.

May ikaklaro lang po ako Ma'am.

Expired na po kasi yong skills assesament ko. Ang date po nya ay Nov 2013.

Ang intindi ko po kasi doon sa renewal guidelines po ng Vetassess ay lahat ng may positive skills assessment (post 2010) 2011 to 2015 (kasi 3yrs validity) ay pwedeng magrenew as long as the employment assessed on the orig assessment is still the same within 5 years. Tama po ba ako?
