Ayaw mo ng state sponsored 489? Kasi 10 every month lang iniinvite sa family sponsored..unlike state sponsored na once approved, invited ka agad to apply for visa

@fgs thank you sa info, nag-hahanap kasi akong ibang option kung sakali lang magkulang sa points. Kung 489 kasi 2 areas preferred ko, NSW & ACT. My aunt is nasa Sydney, hindi sia considered regional, which leaves ACT, to be sponsored by my first cousin.

@RheaMARN1171933 kung relative-sponsored na 489 still applies? I thought 190 lang yung closed, also ACT doesn't have 489 as per http://www.canberrayourfuture.com.au/portal/migrating/article/skilled-migration-visas/

Please note the ACT does not have access to nominate subclass 489 visas.

@downunder15 Yes southern inland. Most likely mga 5mos or more ang waiting period based din sa mga nababasa ko dito. Nirefresh ko akala ko nag ka error.. yun pala naedit :-) thank you atleast may idea lang ako sa timeline. Sana mainvite din ako :-)

Sana mag release na sila soon. Medyu matagal po pla ang grant sa 489.

May mga nag advise kasi sakin na apply muna as single then pag approve na change nlng ng status. Medyu mataas kasi ang hinihingi na show money samen sa NT kaya we opted to do it na ako muna.
mukhang mas ok ata na kasama if ganito naman katagal ang processing.

@archbunki yes, included na de facto. Sa SI kami kaya wala ng show money. Malaki nga show money sa NT, main applicant $25k ata and $15k for de facto?
With regards sa process time, meron ako nabasa sa ibang forum sites na minimum 6months ang process time pag kukunin mo spouse or partner. But then, it always a case by case basis.
Advised ng agent namin na sabay na sa application yung de facto, kasi nabanggit nga niya na matagal ang process.

Two scenario kasi un binigay ng agent un one kasama na sya agad plus 15k and another is subsequent entry subclass 489.
Pag approve na tayu sa 489 what is the latest we could go as our entry? Tama ba 6months

Yes, 489 visa start from the date it was granted...

@fgs @downunder15 yes subsequent. Kinabahan ako baka masyadong matagal ang processing. Now i regret sana nagngutan nlng kami hahaha. Nakaka tuyo ng saving ito and i do hope na maayos na. After ko ma approve submit kami need ko pask sa agent ko para makapag prepare dn kami.
Kylngan pla umaalis agad ksi 4 years un i mean sayng sa panahon.

Ang show money is a requirement of the sponsoring state not DIBP...if you apply for a sebsequent entry visa, wala ng kinalaman ang state dito so dibp will not require anymore show money

Bad news is, the application charge is equivalent to that of the primary applicant($3600 currently). Unlike kung included na sana makasave ka ng kalahati. But if thats the best option, then go for it. Just make sure na applyan mo before you apply for 887 PR visa and should also be included in the 887 visa kasi di sya pwedeng mag apply on her/his own
