Hi guys! graduate po ako ng ComScie sa STI pque last 2010 and with 4yrs work experience since 2012 as an Application developer, and based sa CEP, STI pque is under section 3 kaya 6 years ang need kong work experience. May nakapag try na po ba dito na iratake ang same course under section 1 schools para maging bachelor degree ang diploma? ito kasi ang naiisip kong paraan para tumaas ang points ko.

@metro bro suggestion ko lang, why not wait for 2 years instead na magtake ulit ng degree.
kikita kapa ng pera for 2 years unlike pag nagtake ka ulit ng same course, gastos nanaman tapos sayang panahon. (4 years ulit).
tutal my 4 years kana.

@pinoycoder nag paassess kasi ako sa PCU at marami ang nacredit sa sa mga subjects ko kaya pwede ko sya iretake sa PCU ng 1 year lang. and meron silang program for working student kaya pwede ko sya pagsayabain. ang problema ko lang is kung may bearing kaya ang gagawin ko.

Hi all! We need all the help we can get.

Andito po ang pamilya namin sa Oz on Student Visa. Hubby is doing his MA in IT BUT we were kind of hoping we can apply for a PR ngayon na.

ECE si hubby Don Bosco and with almost 7 years experience sa IT Business Analyst sa semiconductor company sa SG, and until now actually he's working part time, same company (may HQ dito) same designation. Aware naman kami na mawawala Yung 6yrs para sa MET date so mukhang sa IELTS kami babawi.

Meron po ba similar case with him na nag RPL and na approve na? Baka naman po pwede nyo share sa Amin RPL nyo Yun po kase ang hurdle namin.

@racer06 yes it doesn't hurt to have both jobs assessed by ACS, 262113 is also open in SA. Hopefully I get lucky I'm aiming for NSW

@n_nicee hi! Actually hindi kami sure. Nagba-back read nga ako to find a similar case. Nakita Ko Nha yung isang ECE na hindi nag RPL. We just might give it a go.

@coachella9 hi there! Pwede Ko ba mausisa why you went through the RPL route? Ano undergrad mo? Nangangapa pa din kase kame if RPL or Skills. My hubby is an ECE grad and will be nominating ICT Business Analyst.

@hashtagisaw through my back-reading you can have skills assessment na, ece can also be considered as IT, though they may deduct 4years from experience.

hi guys, patulong naman sana sa doubt ko, medyo confused lang ako sa message dahil sa word na AFTER. "The following employment after June 2013" , bali i need to wait na maging 3 years yung experience ko. Ibig ba sabihin neto e magstart ako magcount ng June 2013 so May 2016 e 3 years exp na ko, or dahil sa word na "AFTER" e July 2013 pa start ng count ko? sorry for the petty question.. iniintay ko kase na mag 3yrs work exp ko sa same company bago ko magresign para di na ko magpa-assess ulet.

Akin din 5 years tinanggal.. bwisit na delay dealy tuloy ako. Pero oks lang naka 5 years na ulit ako ngayon. Kailangan pa re access kasi expired na ACS ko.

Tanong lang.. saan/paano ka nagrereview for PTE?..

hi @ios_dev di pala ako nagiisa.. hehe self study lang ako at binasa ko yung PTE thread dito. 3rd take ko na ng pte sa APRIL, sumasabit ako sa speaking eh, pero sa ielts ko 7.5 speaking ko pero sabit naman sa writing. hahahaha gusto ko na makagraduate dito at excited na ko maglodge.

3rd take na sa PTE?.. ako 2x sa IELTS panay writing ang sablay... Nagkaphobia na nga ako eh kaya pinahinga ko muna. haha.. Try ko PTE by next month but need to review first. Only heard about PTE the other day, pwede pala computerized exam, masmadali kasi magtype para sa akin kesa magsulat eh

For ACS (to stay on topic), I think dapat ibigay na nila yun 5th year ko dahil from my last assessment (2 years ago), 4 years ang nacredit.

maybe review mu muna yung guidelines before mu gawin, my nkita akong clause:

If your work experience is completed before the completion date of your qualification, the Skill Level
Requirement Met Date will be determined by the earliest date that both the relevant work experience
and the qualification are completed.

Mga master, sorry pero wala talaga akong makitang same case sakin.

Yung course ko kasi hindi related sa inonominate ko sa SOL. Software engineer yung inonominate ko, and software engineering din ang work ko. Pero ung course ko, BS Commerce and from UST. Ano po kayo ang chances nito?

@callmeskyler Let's wait for the others pero para sakin you can apply via RPL route. Yung course mo kasi is non-IT. Check guidelines here https://www.acs.org.au/migration-skills-assessment/information-for-applicants

4 – Recognition of Prior Learning – (RPL)
The RPL application is for applicants with qualifications with no or insufficient ICT, or applicants having
no tertiary qualifications.
6 years of full time professional ICT work experience in a field closely related to the nominated ANZSCO
Code is required if you hold a Non ICT or insufficient ICT qualification

Good news is you only need to wait around 8months.

same here, 5 years binawas sa akin ni ACS, so wait ko till Sept 2016 para may 3 years ako. sayang noh? hoping na maka 79 each module sa pte.

Thanks for Responding @guenb! Nagtanong kasi ako sa migration agent, sabi daw, pwede na ipa assess, pero di ako kampante dahil nga sa nakita kong gantong requirement. Baka lang meron kasing ibang tao na may same experience, atleast mabibigyan ako ng same feedback. Follow up question, may points din pala kapag comparable/recognized yung school dito at dun sa Australia? Yang bachelors in commerce then UST, may points din ba yan? Thank you ulit!! T_T

@callmeskyler no prob, antay ka din ng feedback from the masters dito, and I think same case kayo ni @coachella9 , ng RPL din sia sa ACS since non-IT yung course nia. Bale for points sa school si VETASSES yung mag assess if Bachelor's or Diploma yung equivalent.
