ahhh yes po, naka certified true copy na lahat ng documents na yun. haha natatakot talaga ako sa pg submit kanina. Na block yung CC ko after, dahil sa payment. Hopefully 2 years lang ma deduct sakin. Pero parang 4 years experience ata ma deduct sakin, which is sakto lang na makatungtong sa 60 pts sa visa 190.

@tomangelo computer engineer ako and actually section 2 ang school ko, my nominated occupation is software engineer. ACS assessed me as AQF Bachelor Degree major in computing with 2 years deduction last June 14 2016.

Meron po ba sa inyo gumawa na ng Statutory Declaration? Pwede po ba makahingi ng sample format? I have a past employer kasi na di allowed mag issue ng employment ref.

I know meron nagpost sa ibang thread pero gusto ko sana makahingi ng sample nyo para makapag compare lang ako and to ensure that I meet the ff criteria from ACS,

The following Statutory Declarations or Affidavits are NOT suitable:
• Does NOT contain words to the effect Sworn Before or Signed Before or Witnessed Before.
• From a junior colleague
• Stating the referee agrees with what the applicant has written in another document
• Stamp and signature of Notary Public doesn’t state that the referee’s signature is witnessed
• Signature of Notary Public only states Attested Copy.

Ahhh so possible pala tlaga, depende siguro sa subjects, baka umabot sa percentage of subjects na closely related.

@goaldrin13 hindi naman po siguro need ng tip since mag rerely naman ang result ng assessment mo sa actual school credentials and actual work experience.

siguro ang tip lang is make sure na ung description ng responsibilities niyo sa work na ilalagay ng HR sa COE mo is related sa inaaplyan mo.

so regardless po pala yung 4 yrs na degree sa pinas tama po ba? kasi binawas sa work exp ko ung 5yrs para daw maging AQF diploma. so 3yrs na lang po ang macredit sa work exp? huhuhuhu ang konti ng points...

paano kaya kay partner if ECE sya tapos applya sya Analyst Prog. since non ICT di ba po. 9yrs work experience nya as IT. so 9 yrs less 6 yrs? diploma din po kaya sya with 3yrs work exp?

@greatsoul hi po. Ano po un nalito ako. First work po kasi 6yrs and 8months. Tapos 2nd work ay 1yr and 7months (to date). 5yrs deduction po sa first work. Para diploma. Kaya sept. 2011 ung start ng work exp na credit nila. Labas po 1yr and 8 months na lang ung first job plus the 1yr and 7months second job. Total ng 3yrs 3months. Para laki nung nadeduct na 5yrs kahit ict naman ung comsci. Kala ko minus 1-2 yrs lang ang i aadd sa 4yr course pag outside au

Bale sa skilled employment pts start ka ng October 2011:
Dates: 10/11 - 05/13 - 1YR7MOs
11/14 - 07/16 - 1YR8MOs

Total of 3years & 3MOs = 5pts

Would acs still deduct years from my work experience?

I'm helping my brother in law for his ACS assessment. Kailangan pa ba isubmit ang mga paper copy o hindi na? During my time (2011) kailangan pa isubmit pero ngayon parang wala akong makita na ganun requirement.

Appreciate anyone who can confirm

hello @sohc.. fully online na yung ACS skills assessment application ngayon.. ipapa-certified true copy (CTC) yung mga required documents then i-u-upload yung scanned copy..

@n_nicee - Yup, naupload ko na lahat ng certified true copies. Hindi na ba kailangan ipadala yung papers? 5 yrs ago kasi kailangan pa i-submit after maupload online. Thanks!

kahit po comsci, kasi mag babase din kasi yan sa school mo, that's why considered as diploma siya and na deduct po yung 5 years. If let's say compare mo sa computer engineering course which is typically a 5 year course dito sa pinas, most likely ma considered siya as bachelor's degree, and also factor pa rin yung school.

So yun nga, any work experience starting FROM OCT2011 (kasi after Sept 11) yun na yung icocount for points for visa.

good day po new member here, question lang po regarding sa computation ng points para makaabot ng at least 60
kasi age ni husband 25pts.
yung sa skills po ba eh ung points na iaasess ng ACS once nagpasa ako ng application?
My husband kasi has 10 years exp. graduate of BSCOE. while reading the forum may mga deductions pa. so need naming at least maka 20 siya sa English competency then dapat 15points sa assessment? to get 60?
tama po ba?

@trixie@yahoo.com yung ipapaassess po sa ACS is yung equivalent na Degree sa Australia. Ito po ung base ng maclaclaim nyong points sa Education category. And also, ito yung magiging base point nyo kung ilang years ang pwede nyo ma claim sa Experience category.

@trixie@yahoo.com meron din 15pts for education kung yung BSCOE ni hubby is equivalent to Australian Bachelor Degree.. gaya ng sabi ni @greatsoul, both education and work experience yung i-a-assess ng ACS..
