    Hi guys, I am planning to submit my ACS Assessment before end of month and I was wondering if I still need an Affidavit. I understand that Affidavit is needed if your COE is not detailed or you can't secure one from your former Employer. I am still connected with the same company and was able to secure COE and I can say its detailed but more on the general duties and responsibilities. I was wondering if I still need to come up with an Affidavit that clearly states the technical aspect of the support we provide or we're doing or is it ok to just include it on my CV? Do you think its ok to provide both COE and Affidavit?

    Thank you po

    @Geoff : have you seen the template provided by ACS for employment references? if the COE's you got from your employers contain all the required information by ACS, then there's no need for you to submit an affidavit. but if not, better submit your standard COE and an affidavit signed by your previous supervisor.

    Hi @hotshot , yes I saw it and I can say all highlighted information are included on my COE. Actually its the same format that our HR used for a friend who submitted his Skill Assessment application for Engineers Australia and was granted a visa. Im just worried if I still needed one. By the way, here's the list the I will be uploading:

    Birth Cert
    Passport
    TOR
    Diploma
    Course Description
    Cert of Employment and Job Desc
    Certification of Compensation
    ITR
    CV
    Some Certificates

    Do you think everything is covered. I think I pretty much covered all those on the check list. If there's anything I need that would help, please let me know. Thanks for replying :)

    Bachelor Degree is enough..
    they are not referring/requiring to graduate with Honors (cum laude etc)..

    Your assessing authority will determine if your Phil degree is equivalent to AQF bachelor degree (15pts), or diploma (10pts)

    Hi,
    Regarding Documents - enough na ba magpacertify ng docs sa Notary Public as long as na me nkalagay "Certified true copy of the original"?

    Please advise . thanks. :)

    Hi, everyone. I've been learning a lot from your posts, and I'm really thankful I found this forum. Question for @LokiJr : What else do you know about AQF certificate providers in the Philippines? May alam ka bang specific institutions? How long do the courses take? I've been googling, but I can't seem to find anything advertised. Will appreciate any info you guys can give.

    My husband and I are in the "research stage" of moving to Australia and we're trying to find out all of the options that are available to us, as well as our friends. Right now, we're focusing on qualifying for any of the Skilled visas. My husband and I are both teachers, but our field of expertise is not on the SOL (he's an English coach and I'm a university instructor). Our plan is for my husband to enroll in a butcher's course since he knows several butchers who are either home from Australia just to review for and take the IELTS or are getting ready to go to Australia. Ang layo, ano? E s'ya naman ang nakaisip, and he wants a career change. =) I ask about AQF certification because I'd like to have career options other than in the teaching profession when we get there (medyo pagod na ring magturo). Also, if Plan A doesn't work out, I may have to be the primary applicant, so I need experience and qualifications na pasok sa SOL. I won't mind a career change, and I'm willing to go back to school (although sana 'wag naman 4 years ulit; nag-masters na rin ako, so antagal ko nang nag-aaral!) =) Sorry this is such a long post! First post pa lang madaldal na. =D

    Hello! does anybody here was a Registered Architect by profession?
    What did you apply for skilled independent ? Is Architectural Draftperson would be appropriate? Kasi mas mahirap mag apply kung Architect ang iaaply. Your reply would be appreciated.Thanks! :)

Please enlighten me po. Im a registered pharmacist and nurse po sa atin. Im currently here in Au for a study to be able to qualify for Aphra registration. If after the course po and successfully gained registration sa aphra and i decided to file an application for skilled independent on my own kasi kung sakali po na wala ako makuhang employer ( worst case ) pano po yung sa work experience na point system? I have more than 5 years exp as pharmacist ( under family owned buss) tapos sa nursing I have mga 4-5 mos na private duty nurse and volunteer work for 2 years as a nurse kasi alam nyo naman po sa atin quotang quota ang nurse kaya wala ng mapasukan na trabaho sa hospital tapos may 1 year 8 mos sa call center for nurses.

    I would really appreciate it po if maliwanagan nyo po ako dito. Kinakabahan kasi ako at madaming gastos tapos may kakilala ako na RN na dio pero hirap makakuha ng sponsor kaya I need a back up plan just in case umabot ako sa ganun point ayoko naman po mag aral pa ulit gaya ng ginawa ng friend kasi napakamahal.

    Salamat.

    pag nabasa nyo na ang job description, check if your work experience is related or closely related sa nakalagay sa ANZSCO job description..

    @jenipet20 - no one knows on this. the results that will be mailed does not include any information regarding how many items you answered correctly or otherwise. it will only show your band score.

    Don't pressure yourself too much by thinking about payslip; prioritize in securing a very nice Certificate of Employment which includes a detailed list of your tasks and responsibilities.

    The payslips are supplementary documents to your COE - if and when needed, hanapin ito sa iyo but this should not be a show stopper if wala ka nito.

    Just to let you know, my wife was not required to submit the payslip. She just submitted a well detailed COE at the start.

    Goodluck!

    @a_mae_z_ing - if I may answer bluntly right, I think sariling diskarte mo na ito kung paano mo sasabihin without divulging that you are applying for AU Migration. Iba't iba naman kasi ang circumstances sa respective offices natin eh; if it works for company A, it may not work for company B...

    For your own company, you are the best person who can assess on how you can navigate this... :)

    You may use the tool from this site to verify what likely is your score -
    http://www.canadavisa.com/ielts/free-practice-tests.html

    LISTENING:
    40 = 9.0
    38-39 = 8.5
    35-37 = 8.0
    33-34 = 7.5
    30-32 = 7.0

    READING
    40 = 9.0
    38-39 = 8.5
    37 = 8.0
    36 = 7.5
    34-35 = 7.0
    32-33 - 6.5
    30-31 - 6.0

    Medyo OT pero parang lumiit margin of error sa 9.0 at 8.5's a :O hehe

    Hello po....

    Good thing someone told me about this forum... I really need help or advice from you guys...

    Gusto ko kasi talagang mag migrate pero i am not too sure kung saang category ako papasok at magpapasa para sa application for VISA. hmmm... I'm a graduate and licensed ECE, pero indi na ako nagparenew after I got residency here in Singapore and my current job is not really pang ECE kasi I got into Quality engineering field. Pano po kaya yun? From the start QA engineer (HDD manufacturing) ako for 2 years and 10 months sa Pinas then nung andito ako sa SG na employ ako as QA manager (repair and reverse logistic industry) tpos current job ko Quality Supervisor (electronic distribution Centre). Di po sya masyadong technical na technical kasi aside from I'm into certification and audits eh more on team management and customer complaint analysis ang ginagawa ko. Not so much on electronics talaga... So I am not too sure kung pwede ko pang gamitin un tapos mag apply for assessment as electronics engineer... Kung engineer manager naman parang not enough yung experience...

    Any suggestion po?

    Sorry ang haba...
