Tama mga sir, nde na dn nmen ma-gets how to be eligible as SG PR. My wife been here for more than 5yrs, same company, ok dn ang sweldo, etc hehe pero ayaw tlaga. Sabe nia bka dw nde nakukuha name nia sa raffle draw ng immigration for PR :D though same company nia may mga Malaysians (male) na na-aprub. Which leads to bka over quota na tayung Pinoy PR dito (???) or bka ayaw nila pg babae (la logic)
yun nga e...wala kasing transparency. basta apply ka lang at submit documents tapos surprise na lang sa matatanggap na letter. approved or denied...wala kang clue what made them decide sa outcome. di tulad sa OZ, clear-cut ang requirements. basta pasok ka sa requirements na hinahanap and you could provide the necessary documents to prove it, alam mong maaapprove ang application mo. oh well. :)

to the well-conversed about PR laws and regulations: Would it be fine if after we could validate the IED, hindi muna mag stay for a year sa OZ? so lalabas uli sa OZ after IED...the reason behind this is that my company here abroad still needs my help...kawawa nmn kung hindi ko sila matutulungan sa request nila..

Just want to grab the opportunity here anyway while I meet the immigrants requirements kaya nag aaply ako ngaun for OZ. baka bukas o makalawa, mahirapan na ako kung hindi ko pa etutuloy ngaun ang application.

Yep. And pag nagrereject sila walang clear reason.

But seriously, tama sila... Walang minimum requirements that are stipulated; kumbaga, submit all docs you can come up with (mahilig ang mga tao dito ng mga certifications, etc) and that is it...

Chances are, a month after you submitted, you will receive a very thin envelop which states that your application has been thoroughly assess but you are not qualified. No reason is indicated as to where your application went wrong.

I'm planning to migrate in Australia primarily because of my family and ayoko na umasa sa employment pass ko dito sa Singapore. But im still thankful na nakapag Singapore ako. Mas malapit sa Pinas, mas mura pamasahe, one of the safest and less polluted country in the world, night life, more chicks and adventure (good for single haha), modern/ city living talaga para ka lang nasa loob ng Makati (upgraded version), superb transpo, shopping haven, competitive environment, plus buo mo makukuha sweldo mo at mas malaki chance na makaipon talaga ng pera.

Yep, money haha. I can easily saved 6 digits figures here in pesos sa Singapore, net of everything, everymonth. Tax are being paid in succeding year and totally parang hindi mo rin maramdaman. Pwede pang hulugan. Pang single talaga tong place na to at sa gusto makaipon. Dami din tukso dito haha. Very organised in everything and generally people follow rules and very disciplined. Kung may racist man, wala akong na experience in person for my almost 4 years of stay here. Sa mga internet forums lang marami =). My former local colleagues are actually one of the best persons i met and worked with. Updated din gadgets dito, mabilis internet, may mga it shows pa palagi, may geylang pa (lol) , kung luho lang enjoy ka dito, isang buwan lang pwede mo na mabili. But circumstances change, so i need to secure my family's future in less stressful environment so sana makapag OZ ako, if not Canada. hahaha

So im living here alone since 2009.

If may bagay man na ma miss talaga ako sa Singapore, not the place, nor the food, convinience, etc. but my former housemates at mga nakasama ko (i.e pinoydotasg group, former pinoyc colleagues, kaibigan, churchmate). Palipat lipat din ako ng accomodations, from woodlands, pioneer, khatib, cantonment, tanjong pagar plaza, to yewtee and iba ibang tao. So many memories, lalo na sa cantonment 2 years ako dun, were all "for the boys" laging party laging masaya. Dito ngayun sa yewtee pwede na 500 a month, nasa condo kami parang party palagi ok din facilities ok mga hausmate, swerte lang yata ako or magaling maghanap.

Lving in complete strangers here in Singapore is something na na enjoy ko ng todo. But looking forward to be with my family na talaga, thats why =)

2nd renewal and isang new application so far hindi pa naman ako na dedeny. Kaya like everyone else, mag plan B na. Go to place na magiging resident ka talaga. Also to try living/ working sa less stressful environment. Life is a journey, and priorities changes as your grow older haha

And to answer the question "Bakit Australia?"

Way back in 2008 may naging trainer ako sa work na Aussie, he mentioned a lot about Australia, weather, government system, work, parks, etc etc. Bentang benta kasi halos lahat good points nasabi nya. Weather - Di masyado kalamigan, Government System-wala syang nasabi about corruption, Work- may future, may career growth, Park- madami at malinis .

Ako kasi before mag singapore, may work na at may signing bonus pa dati, so hindi ko talga naranasan yun mag tourist at mag exit.

Sa Australia secured mo muna visa mo or hanap ka muna employer di pwede basta basta tourist lang gaya ng Singapore (as far as i know).

Choice mo talga is kumuha ng sarili mong flat. Which is why i choose Australia now, because i have 3 months old baby boy na. But i highly doubt na parehas ang magiging savings ko from Sg and Aus.

@rara_avis , maybe because nag tourist lang kasi sya at naghahanap pa lang ng work during that time. May sarili na siguro syang kwarto by now.

May ilang din naman akong kakila na naka renew or naka extend ng pass so iba ibang situation din siguro. HIndi ako masyado worry about my job status right now being career auditor, mindset ko na talaga careful planning at anticipate mga risks haha. May plan is to get the bonus this Dec, complete all my current certifications, I'm already starting my migration process sa Australia hoping that before Nov 13 may visa na ako, and also test the water by looking for another Company here in Singapore check ko kung maapproved bagong e-pass ko sa bagong Company if in case. Kahit kasi maapproved visa ko Australia, i plan to stay here for 1-2 years more to save bit, depends. Patapos na din yung amortisation ng property na hinuhulugan ko sa pinas (thanks Sg), so everything is ok pa naman.

Most likely. Dito kasi sa Singapore, halos araw2 may nagto tourist to find jobs. Dati kasi (years ago), simple lang process, punta dito hanap work, approved ng MOM, apply PR pati citizenship bigay lang parang toilet paper sabi nga ilang forumers sa kabila. Ngayun, nag higpit na, to the point na minsan wala ng basis. Thats why lots of SG people are coming to Australia. But Singapore is not a bad place to earn, experience, stay, etc. Both countries have pros and cons. Thats why im very realistic so not to be disappointed. Im sure pagdating ko ng Australia (if palarin), is may mga bagay akong makikitang mas ok sa Singapore kesa sa Australia. We cant have the best of both worlds. haha
