"This is ACS's calculation of the time component of your skills acquisition - whether you were required to prove 4, 6 or 8 years, this is when they say that the period was completed."

i just have a few questions regarding ACS.
I'm a graduate of BS Computer Science since 2000 and currently employed as a Sys/Net Admin. below is a brief history sa current job ko.
Senior IS/IT Specialist (Systems engineer) - 1yr and 9 months
Sys/Net/Dbase Admin - 2yrs and 4 months
base sa employment ko above, qualified na ba ako for skilled migration and also ano ang gagamitin kong code is 262113 Systems Administrator or 263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer?
dun ba sa COE kailangan meron din sa previous employer or pwede na sa current na lang? hindi ko kasi sure kung operating pa yung company ko dati. employed naman ako doon as systeme engineer for about two years din.

Sa detailed Employment of Certificate nag-list down lang ako ng at least 5 main duties and responsibilities… more of focus kung anong programming language, technical skills and other technical and functional responsibilities kaya one page lang each COE ko in a company letter head. Sinunod ko lang yung details sa FAQ ng ACS.
Yung specific projects sa statutory declaration ko yan nilagay, lahat ng projects na involve ako dineclare ko with description…including main duties and responsibilities in each project… several pages including artefacts (i.e. payslips, certificates, employment contracts, etc.)
Sa statdec ang ginamit kong template is yung andito http://www.ag.gov.au/statdec Commonwealth of Australia of Statutory Declaration Act of 1959... kung sa Australian Embassy kayo magpapa-sign, “witnessing of document” ang tawag nila no need for appointment kahit lunch time open sila, dito sa Singapore 27sgd lang… alam ko mas cheaper compared sa mga local SG lawyers/notary public which is around 40sgd and may sarili silang template... siguro pag dyan sa Pinas mas cheaper pa din.

Oo nga medyo nakakalito kung ilang points ang pede mo ma-claim… in my opinion, you’ll get 10pts.
Sabi dito… Overseas and Australian Skilled Employment – Points –
“You can claim points for both Australian skilled employment and overseas skilled employment and this may be from a combination of both Australian and overseas employment experience provided it was undertaken in the last 10 years.
The maximum number of points that can be awarded for Australian or overseas employment experience or combinations of both is 20 points.”
… hopefully may ibang members dito na makapagbigay ng insights sa ganyang situation.

"This is to certify that abcd efg has been a full-time(40 hrs per week), permanent employee of xyz company as analyst programmer from jun 1, 2004 to jan 1, 2006. His last drawn salary was PHP 45,000 with monthly allowance of PHP 2000.00."
"This is to certify that abcd efg was a permanent employee of xyz company. He held a full-time(40 hrs per week) position of software engineer from jan 2, 2006 to feb 1, 2010. His monthly salary was PHP 50, 000.00."
Sa 2nd part which will enumerate the duties and responsibilities, ibahin mo din.
This is just my opinion, maaaring sa iba, they used the same format and it worked for them. Pero I suggest na magkaiba ng wording.

22. What information needs to be contained within the employer reference?
This Reference should:
show the official company or government department letterhead of the organisation which employed you
show in the letterhead the full address of the company, any telephone and fax numbers, email and website addresses
be from your supervisor or the manager of the human resources department –references from colleagues at the same level or below are not suitable
be signed by an authorised person whose name and position is typed or stamped below the signature – a signature which cannot be identified will not be accepted and include the following information:
• the direct contact number of the person writing the reference
• the exact period of employment
• the required working hours per week
• whether that employment was permanent or temporary
• whether the employment was full-time or part-time
• the position(s) held
• the main duties undertaken
• the salary earned
Positions should not be described by generic titles, but according to the nature of the duties undertaken.
Letters of appointment or contracts are not accepted.

Also, as for your worry, you can just ask your employer to give you a certificate of employment with your job description. You can tell them that you need it for Visa application. Just don't mention that it's for immigrant application. Hehe.
