    Hi po mga kabayan, newbie to this site and i found it so informative. I'm an IT Professional (Systems Engineer) and 6years na po ako living and working in SG. My family (wife and 2 kids) is with me here in SG and PR po kami lahat dito.

    But with the recent changes and distinction of benefits between citizens and PR's, we are seriously considering relocating and AU is the place we are targeting.

    My question po is for those SG PR's who migrated in AU, pano po process ginawa nyo? Did you relocate right away? Or is it ok na once PR ka na sa AU, you still continue working in SG while trying to find a job in AU? Do you move as a family? How about your CPF in SG?

    sana po may magshare ng nakahanap ng work kahit andito pa sa pinas. :) Balak ko po kasi sa December pa pumunta ng AU, daan muna ako ng Sydney to visit my relatives then saka punta ng Perth.

    Kung mahirap po kumuha ng work habang andito pa pinas ibig sabihin mas mahirap po yung sasabihin niyo sa employer na December pa kayo available? tama po ba?! waaaaaah...

    Hindi talaga natatapos sa visa grant ang lahat! hehehe.. =)
    @angel4ever I am one of the lucky persons who got a job offer while still in Manila. You're right hindi talaga natatapos sa visa grant. Pero you're one step closer to fulfilling your Au dream. Mahirap talaga if you are still in the Philippines while applying for a job here in Au. Imagine, yung mga kacompetensya mo karamihan andito na sa Au at anytime pwede mag start ng work, bakit sila kukuha ng applicant overseas at paghihintaying pa sila ng December? Pero walang imposible. Tyaga, sipag at dasal - lahat ng gusto mo matutupad. I got the job offer in 20 April 2010 and I negotiated with the employer na mag start ako ng work on 12 July 2012. Pumayag naman sila. So nothing is impossible if you get a job offer by this time and tell the employer that you wisho to start working early January.

    Hi @noory7 - if you can share what is your occupation/skill..

    the first check is whether your occupation is in demand in Australia...
    if it is, then we can check if you can apply under the Skilled Migrant Visa scheme...
    or you can find employers under the Employer Nomination Scheme...

    check niyo rin po yung vetassess website kasi andun karamihan ng tesda courses na available. for all we know you will find getting the visa easier this way

    As of now i'm a nanny sa saudi po ako ngayon at housekeeping po ang nakuha ko sa tesda, i can take another training course if necessary. again thank u :)
